Routes of 99 is a four part web series featuring Whistler's most prominent riders. This series will document the lives of these riders as they explore the vast network of trails accessible off of Route 99.
Oh no, he is on a freeride bike. What a weirdo! What is that strange genre stuck between Enduro and Downhill... is it like, going up talking to your friends, and not racing them down, but just having fun? I don't get it
Your posts, no matter how much irony intended, are becoming a rash on this site. Let's all try to keep it positive, even if sarcasm sometimes tends towards positivity. thanks man.
What? A rash? I was not commenting for weeks and after a fluke of 10 comments or so, you are telling me this? Where were you in the winter time when I truly was all over the place? You are quite negative about me man, you are not consequent with your trend towards positivity. And well about being positive... ying and yang maaan. You want more ying you get more yang.
Peace...
I mean I am not going to write anything more to you, I will never meet you, so I may as well write "Hitler" instead of "Peace" so Cheers!
"so I may as well write "Hitler" instead of "Peace" so Cheers!" i think you meant to finish with "so Hitler!". because you didn't really prove a point by saying cheers.but i like the sarcaism, at least its kind of funny and not stupid internet bullshit. What! A Rash!. come on half the people who read that cracked a smerk at least.
I may get negged to death for saying this but dh racing does not push the limits of mtb, nor does any other mtb discipline except for freeride. I mean what is more impressive, a fast time down leogang or backflipping the icon sender? Which one truly pushes the limits?
Well, I mean it in a good tone with a good intention, but you should not care for what pushes the limits of what. You may want to care for what do you do to push your limits. Do not fall into that horrible disease of getting over excited by watching others do what you would like to do. It is your life, ride the sender or fk the sender and appreciate your every day. World would be a real shit of a place if everyone would backflip the sender. The very core of my sarcasm above was: Do not fall into categories
Awesome shredding!
It's my preference to see gnarly riding on single crowns. I just can't relate to downhill bikes because the stuff I ride all has to be pedalled up with one of those behemoths. Nowhere I bike is there a shuttle service or lifts so burly single crown it is - shit though my Lyric is the same innards as a Boxxer.
There are a few guys out there that are just so fun to watch because they look like they are having tons of fun on their bikes and this is definitely one of those guys. Also, it's rare these days that I turn the volume up during an edit, but I did today.
Nice vid! A wreaked havoc once, it wasn't on a bike, I wasn't very good at it. Thanks for showing crash, it helps make me feel a lil less hopeless on two wheels. Good music too.
This guy shreds! Overall sick edit with great riding and great song but i don't think anybody should ever try and do a metallica cover. Played the original in the background, made the video way better.
better watch out for lars ullrich , he'll be breeding down your necks with another lawsuit for posting a clip without mentioning the original song was written by metallica . Lemmy makes it soooooo much better .
its just that giddy laughter realizing that you got away with it.
Out on my own at the weekend, crashed after a gap jump, finished upside down in a bush laughing to myself.
I like how more riders are showing humility and displaying their crashes that make them look like the rest of us. Even though most make me look like a Joey.
The fast that every now and then a vid like this comes up makes pinkbike worth the bandwidth on my crappy internet connection. Just have to ignore the comments of the weak.
Peace...
