Queenstown is no ordinary place. When the locals come together and decide to organise a mass start downhill race, it's never going to be just any old race. With world cup downhillers, top level slopestyle atheletes, enduro world series racers and a Redbull Rampage competitor it's fair to say this video has it all.

Tandem bikes, gnarly crashes and some insane lines - I give you the Fernhill Frenzy.

 Thanks for the positive comments for our wee film, unfortunately the praise has gone completely to my head, now I consider myself the worlds greatest director, more so than Micheal Bay. So the Tandem footage will be released in a series of 3 three-hour epics with lots of special effects, made up characters and a fat Legolas. Each released every December. See you in 2018!

 I love how New Zealand the only rule is to have fun! Here in Australia an event like this would never happen, because way too much bureaucracy and BS form government, park rangers etc. Just so you have an idea local mountain bike club raised $6k to get proper trail builders to fix some of the local trails. Builder told me park rangers made him remove jumps and berms from the track because it's not the standard... So lame, what is the standard? Who creates the standard? So lame!

 I know! The rangers in Australia suck. They take all of our natural dirt trails and put this Grenatic sand, gravel shit over them so that we ride on what is essentially a gravel walking path. They even start complaining if we get rid of a tree that is soo close to the trial it is beyond dangerous, and if you get rid of a bit of grass and or bracken on the side of the trail so that you don't get the insides of your elbows lacerated then you could be up for a $600 or more fine.

 Folks, I just say "Germany". Technically you are not even allowed to ride on ways in the forest which are narrower than 2,5 meters!

 everyone who races should race one race a season like this.they will remember how to have fun and not be so serious.i did the chomolungma race in snowshoe and it was a blast.except that race was 20 laps dh and 30,000ft vert at the end of the day.it was fun to see the bike carnage.

 Mass start downhill 10 riders +, how long do we have to wait, would be awesome. Make it into a series, gates of 10 riders, qualifying times to decide who makes the final top ten gate places. Nice wide track with alternate line options, start gate like bmx, podium places for the top 3. Come on Monster/Red Bull it's a winner!
