Was there to check out the landing zone, then the French guy took a huge hit. Man what a huck. The landing (not to be seen) is so steep and rough, incredible.
comments comments pur-fricken-leaaaase... let me know what you think. yes, put your fingers on your keyboard and start typing. mwaahahaa DANCE DANCE on the keyboard. cheers, Sodamn Insane!
Hi!I'm the french rider on your photo from Chatel!Nice pic!I remember of you, that was a cool session with you and mates!Have you got other photos of the day?Can you upload it on pinkbike! Thanks a lot, love the pic Esteban
the landing was very steep into an abyss of smeary clay and had sharp rocks stewn all over. you have to be very tough to take that jump. I have taken shots from the drop-off facing down - I should upload it, it's freaking me out everytime.
Chatel, un bon spot Francais. Surtout quand on voit l'engagement de la face Mountain Style. Très bonne station aussi pour ses multiples North Shore. Sinon que dire de Esteban Deronzier ? Qu'il est super bon
all this is what inspires me to want to be a photographer, i mean gettin to see all these sick bikers landin and bailin its gota be great, that drop-off looks tough especialy cause of the landing, i would never have the balls to do that.
good job
Tu me rigole? Really? You took that other step up jump too? That was even bigger, just with a better landing, but with a very kicker. Impressive! You are a good rider.
COOOOOOLLL!!C'est une bonne surprise de se retrouver là et de voir cette photo!!The day after I take the first bigstep up step down drop!!argghh no photo!
I hit a load of the jumps and drops in that park (including the similar step up to drop further up which nefas got as POD a while back), but didnt go for that step down because of how cut up and how covered in rocks the landing was. That, and where the track curves immediately to the right, i just felt like i'd fall off the side of the hill =D. Damn good effort hitting that.
That whole section of the chatel bikepark is fooking nuts, there is nothing in it that isn't scary looking in some way!
Suffice to say I stayed well clear, fair cop to anyone who rides it!
weemacdmr, you said you dont agrea with with people that say the photo is shopped so why then go on to say that its shopped, firstly about the clouds, you can sharpen and brighten photos but i dont think that they have even done this, i no you said that your just trying to get a point across and i respect that, but i just found it really ironic the way ou contridicted your self, sorry to sound like im dissing you, im not, just getting my point across
Sweeeeet ballsey step-down!!!! I think I'd have to try that if opportunity was put before me...but then again... I'm sitting at a computer and not at the step-down...
I'm sorry I'm not a fan off people that say photoshop when it's a quite clearly not photoshopped, but I just can't help but think this has been photoshopped the clouds look too white and the rider looks very small and very blurry.
Again sorry to say this but it looks a bit dodgy
of course it is "photoshopped" - I put a great deal of work into color correction and other post production. so in that meaning you are right. but if you are complaining that thi is "fake" - I am sorry, you are wrong. This shot has not been faked.
thats nice, but its funny what the europeans deem a HUGE HUCK lol looks about 25-30feet, I think i saw a neighbour lady on a big wheel hit a bigger gap this morning, and she hadnt even had her cup of coffee yet...
Thats Pre La (or is it Les cant remember what one) Joux bike park right? The one with the mini slopestyle course at the bottom? Thats sure one big huck - I couldnt do it!
