70a is for skids, 60a means traction and 42a is for those who don't eat. There is also a 40a rubber for mental people, who have too much money, still don't eat, when it's really windy, or if you like to ride upside down. 3C for undecided.
It is a pitty they don't offer 70a 2PLY rear tires for urban activities with skids on stairs.
na thats the steepness believe me, my mate kurt showed me those lines gotta be 8 years ago so we rode them all way back when we lived in Banff.
It is on the old road heading outta Canmore, there is a couple longer steeper line's we hit there to.So I can vouch for that photo.
