When Elliot told me he wanted to ride this huge spillway i knew i had to shoot it. With the runn in being wet grass i wasnt sure about him being able to whiplash this but he nailed it and rode out no probs.
i must say i spent a lot of time looking at the graffiti, i always found it interesting. (too bad they have to destroy property with it, because i would hang some of the more talented stuff up in my room if they did it on canvas)
props to the rider and photographer, just an all around amazing photo.
@c4- to say they are 'destroying' it is a bit ignorant.. its still perfectly useable concrete. and not only do i agree with imdabomb and canaan, it is art.
i think he was saying how some people destroy property with it, it gives all graffiti a bad name.most of it has amazing, but then you do find that one ugly ass crack whore with a dick in her mouth spray painted on the fence at my skatepark.
Unfortunatly this is a pretty parklands surrounded by a pretty rough area. We are currently building funded,mtb/ walking tracks in there and everything that we cant pack away in our shipping container has been completly graffitied. No good stuff either. Shame really. Im all for the mural stuff but tags are the worst form of vandalism i say.
Tags are the most pointless thing in Australia. Mostly its just 16 year olds that get together and form a "gang" and put their post code everywhere because it was cool to do it in GTA.
yes thank you that is amazing, i personally think that it looks so much cooler than other paintings that are considered art by todays modern standards.
