Coastal Crew are too good. I wouldn't have thought it was possible to keep getting better but they keep proving me wrong and I absolutely love them for it.

I'm 52 and just started DH. Brother I'm with you. If this sport existed back in 81, I'd be working my buns off for a Carbon Wilson or a Carbon Demo. Take summer off and ride. Some of these kids on the mountain today don't know how blessed they are to have such remarkable equipment. Both to play with and to keep them safe. But they do appreciate it.

Frustrating how Magnus has access to all these awesome trails to train on aswell as being blessed with a downhill bike. I'm 15 and have a enduro (which I love) but don't have the trails like he has here in the UK. Would love to go travelling. Good luck Magnus

That Magnus kid looks good ripping flow downhill and all (and I'm sure he's fast as hell) but the world downhill circuit is much more rooty n rocky than the dream like trails of the "sunshine" coast. There are great World Cup racers coming our of that region but that video does not display his capabilities. I'd like to see him mosh down some more technical terrain before I cream myself all over this comment list. Just saying..

You ever ridden 35" wide tree spacing over jagged rocks on the east coast? I'd love to ride your mossy, rooty, rainforest up there. It's just about the ideal conditions for having fun on a mountain bike. I'm not trying to take anything away from his capabilities; like I said in my comment. I'm just stating that the content of this video, despite it's appeal, is that it shows nothing for his abilities on a World Cup downhill course. So before all of you cream over it and how fast he is, realize that there are a half a dozen 30 year old "all mountain" riders in your area who can do what he is doing on that bike on that trail with no recognition further than a few high fives and a comped beer at the end of the day by their comrades

lol, why is it that riders on the east coast feel they have most rugged terrain? Im sure Magnus is gunna do well in the racing world the kids got heart, style, and a good training regime can't wait to see him in the near future.

If you want rough try Angel Fire. Boogie is basically one giant lava flow the entire way down, and the moving rock garden in chillin is always interesting. That place simply destroys bikes (me and two of my friends alone broke 5 frames last season). The kid's definitely fast though. Kind of sounds like a young Stevie Smith and his segment in... well I can't remember the name of the movie, but it was very similar (I believe he was even 15 at the time as well).
