Interview: World Cup DH Brake Tech with SRAM
most brakes with sticky pistons that I have worked on have so much dirt in the grooves for the piston seals that the seal doesn't have the correct amount of travel anymore. Split the caliper in half, clean the seal groove, rebuild, rebleed, etc. OR, get Hayes.

Review Roundup: 4 Mountain Bike Rain Jackets Tested
@st-lupo: Yep. A quick check of the weather network, enough layers to keep the rain off for the arduous saturated climbing, (where you will be hot AF regardless of gear), then a random $39-$49 packable shell thingy to get some remaining heat trapped for the ride down. The bonus is to get a black one so the gorilla tape patches aren't so obvious.

Tech Week 2023: 7Mesh's Fall Apparel Collection
I just had terrible save-on-foods california rolls while reading these reviews, even the deli pack chocolate chip cookies are lacking.

Tech Tuesday: Volume Spacers and Spring Curves
the bottom out control of the z1 has been surprisingly good. simple fork and works amazing. Not nearly fancy enough for most modern mtbers which is a shame, its awesome.

First Look: WTB's HTZ E-Bike Wheels Are Designed For Toughness, Not Lightness
Nvmd just realized you ride in the Midwest. No wonder your parts last. Come to the pnw, ride every day, and you'll see what I mean.

First Look: WTB's HTZ E-Bike Wheels Are Designed For Toughness, Not Lightness
@justinfoil: a given weight suspended by a fixed line (cable etc) would need to be many factors stronger to withstand a very small freefall. It's an exponential factor of energy created by mass, momentum etc. This applies to all mass in motion. The *slightly heavier bikes/riders (as you explained) are actually demanding a lot more of the components. For what it's worth I don't care about your opinion because I calculate this shit every day for a living. I'm still glad to see parts made to take the abuse of hard riding, regardless of your assessment of the current parts that are not up to the task at all, *also, wearing out far too quickly. A wise person would say *quit while you think you are ahead.
