The weather in Vancouver has been extra sunny this spring, allowing for some upper Cypress Mountain trails to melt off earlier than usual. Matt and Vaea took advantage of the warm temperatures, and we ended up having a great time shooting some fresh trails, all the way down to the beach. Straight off a pair of 2nd places at The Gryphon, keep an eye out for Matt and Vaea this season on both the EWS and UCI DH circuit, as they will be racing select events as part of the GoPro Intense Team.

Matt dropping in.
Vaea pushing back up.

I like it! and who cares about what people want to wear when they ride. Didn't know there was such thing as trail fashion police. Just get on your bike and pedal.

That trail is open. Nice. What about the open part before the trail? Probably a trudge through wet snow.
I like how you can hear the tires scraping on the steep rock lines.

I used to think like that... until I tried goggles for AM/EN. No tearing, nothing gets in your eyes and they get you in "the zone" for descents.

goggles need a re-design. old school pilots/cycling/motoring goggles are cool- separate lenses, bug eye looking.
