Morpheus Bikes

By selling their products exclusively through the website and therefore straight from the manufacturer to consumer, Morpheus are able to offer great value for money. Focusing on selling direct to the consumer saves on many distribution costs and those savings can be passed on to you, the customer.

Morpheus Bikes
No one knows the product better than Morpheus themselves and they're always on hand to answer your questions, no matter how simple or complex.

Even the biggest dealer cannot stock all products in every size and colour combination. By ordering direct from the manufacturer, you have access to our entire inventory, which means you’ll get the bike you want much quicker.

Morpheus stands behind their products 100% and offers one of the most comprehensive warranty and crash replacement programs in the industry. Dealing directly with the consumer allows them to take care of any issues quickly and get you back on your bike as soon as possible.

Morpheus offers free shipping in the USA and flat rate shipping elsewhere on all of their complete bikes and frames. The bikes are shipped in bespoke packaging to ensure that they arrive in one piece and the complete bikes require minimal assembly before they’re ready to ride.

Morpheus Bikes

Mike Schwartz, the main man behind the Morpheus brand is excited about this new direction. "By selling direct to the consumer, we can offer incredible value for money. Our FMB World Tour proven Vimana frame can now be purchased for just $595 and if you're in the US, shipping is free! The costs that we have saved have allowed us to focus on the development of new Morpheus models. Its has also allowed us to keep the quality of the bikes extremely high whilst lowering the prices. A perfect example can be seen when comparing the all new V-Slope to the previous Skyla. The MSRP on the Skyla frame was over $1700 and now we can offer the V-Slope for only $1295. The V-Slope beats its predecessor in every single category and also costs more to produce, yet the consumer direct model allows us to sell it for less. Keep any eye on our website for more info. 2015 is going to be an exciting year for Morpheus and we hope to welcome many new riders to the Morpheus family."

Morpheus team shots.

The new Morpheus website is now live. Check out morpheususa.com for more info and to place your order.

Now we just need to mount the rear wheel direct-ly to the frame so that my eyes don't hurt.

I have to agree I have never found their frames attractive
  • 53 1
They claim that's how they work some flex into the rear end so it rides more like steel. I gotta say its the best feeling dj frame I've ridden.
  • 25 0
I don't doubt it, they appear nicely made. Just joking around, no hate.
  • 71 6
If they want it to ride like steel, why not, y'know, make the bike out of steel?
  • 6 2
How else could they justify the $600 frame only price???
  • 8 6
Easy, make it out of nice steel like Supertherm or 853 and not 4130 space junk.

The V-Slope is the most affordable true slopestyle frame i've seen yet! $1300!!

It's funny cause every bmxer & dj'er is super vane about the way they look, & those dropouts look horrible!
  • 10 1
^vain is neither spelled right nor belongs anywhere in that sentence.

I like this, No need for a middle man, YT / Air Borne / Morpheus etc. are helping pave the way to make bikes more affordable.

Boxxer team + DB Coil. For the same price in the USA you get a Domain and a Kage

canyon bikes needs to come to the US

You get a lot of value out of Norco, too. Plus buying from a bike shop which can easily help you set it up, fix stuff, warranty stuff, etc.

For $3000 in the USA you get a Boxxer RC and Kage RC from Norco.

$595 for a frame sounds pretty normal for a dj frame to me? where are the "savings"?
  • 8 1
$595 sounds normal??? Sounds expensive to me. . .look at Transition and Deity, but they are made out of CroMo, which some people like more. . .
  • 4 1
Well considering the were retailing around $869.99 for frame only at most shops that's a pretty good savings
  • 6 4
It's probably a deal for the 6 people that will spend more than $500 for a DJ frame.
  • 4 1
Considering most quality aluminum dj frames retail around $650 it fits right in. Clearly people buy expensive dj frames or no manufacturer would be selling them....

Bought a DJ for the first time this winter (used complete). Rode it in an indoor park all winter and being a DH/XC guy, I was quite surprised at how much money people poored into their bmx/DJ setups. The guys who are serious about their riding will pay whatever it takes to get the good stuff.

Better then $1000 for a jackal frame
  • 8 1
But it doesn't even say Santa Cruz on the downtube, 3 times. . .each decal is worth at least $100.
  • 2 0
More like they want to take all the channel sales margin for themselves. Sneaky people.

Dartmoor two6 player frames are aluminium and only £185 brand new

When you get your bike from ups you may have to put the wheels and bars on, maybe. Thats what the bike shop does for you for the 40 percent markup. And most bike shops are full of tards or elite ego maniacs, there are a few exceptions of course, just not in my zip code. Was i born a hater or did the industry make me that way, thinkaboutit!

YT, Airborne, and now Morpheus are setting a great precedent for the industry (IMO). With this, prices are sure to come down...
...FINALLY!

I got kinda screwed by Morpheus, I bought they're old Vimana frame because they said that te new one wouldn't be out for a few more months, they released it a few weeks later and for $150 less, with a tapered headtube. Mine rides great (I'll never buy a dj frame that isn't a Morpheus) but I would've loved to have one of the new ones.

Also, Morpheus has always been direct. You just had to call them, and they'd get you set up. This is Easier I guess, but the whole "Mopheues goes Direct" is kinda bs because they've been like that for a while.
  • 2 1
That's rubbish of them, sounds a bit like bs to get the last of the old ones sold. Nonetheless sure it's ace anyway.
  • 1 0
Good job Morpheus, the rest of the world should follow your lead, get rid of the useless fvcking middle men, dealers, distributors, agents, salesmen etc. This is the way to go.

Now just start making bikes people might actually want & you're set. Smile

Anyone else notice how long the reach looks? I know the rear end is short but, do many dj bikes have a cranktip that far from the front tyre? It interests me because I'm tall.
  • 3 1
Never seen a broken one. Burly but extremely light. Buildout at 19-21 lbs. pretty light for a dirt jumper
  • 2 0
WOW i wish more compagny do that. Some bike brand don't even put a price on their website..
  • 1 0
I like this news! Online shopping is the way to go these days. Skip the middle man, drop the prices and make more customers happy, sounds all good to me!
  • 3 1
What is with that extra piece of metal to break holding the rear wheel?
  • 3 1
Adjustable dropouts. They are extremely strong. Also makes for super short chainstays
  • 2 0
I still think Vimana sounds like the name of a modest family sedan.

their direct sales site seems to be down / not working
  • 4 4
i friggen love their DH frame
  • 7 0
oh god, you cant say that around here! dont you know the rules??!
  • 9 8
Too bad about it breaking every other run. Also about it being hideous.
  • 4 2
care to backup your statement with pictures of said broken frames? and as for the looks, that will always be personal preference
  • 4 3
Out of respect for the company and more importantly, the several current or former team riders I've spoken to, no. Suffice it to say though that there is a reason none of the gravity team members rode one in competition last season and why they are no longer for sale. Looks are subjective though, obviously. The popular opinion seems to be that they were beaten into existence with an ugly stick, and I happen to agree.

Explained in the comments by Morpheus, "we gave then the opportunity to ride what they want to be safe."
Translated - We knew that our bike was unsafe and had broken under less demanding terrain than rampage and we were too late to fix it so they rode other brands' bikes at the biggest event that either rider is likely to take part in that year. Seems like a fail to me.
