Tech Randoms: Frame Weights, Gearboxes, & A Production Privée Prototype at the Val di Fassa EDR
@nozes: try some different pads (after you've installed some new rotors). I really did not like the organic pads, but I am a big fan of their sintered pads for the bikepark. Or maybe try brake pads by different manufacturers, brake pads make a massive difference.

Brembo Launches GR-PRO Mountain Bike Brake System
Why should monoblock calipers be superior to 2 piece designs? A two piece design with steel bolts has high amounts of pre tension to resist expansion that a monoblock cannot have. Almost all dh brakes with monoblock design that I can think of have soft bite points (Hope Tech 4, Magura), while the strongest two piece brakes are known for harder bite points (Shimano, Maven, Dominion, Trickstuff, Intend). Now I haven't ridden all of these brakes so I can only go by reviews I've read. Additionally the caliper is of course not the only variable. But I don't see any signs of monoblock calipers being inherently superior.

Renthal Announces Single Collar Lock-On Grips
@dreamlink87: thanks for the suggestion! I have settled on Loctite 60 second glue. Sticks really well, and leaves enough time for repositioning.

Renthal Announces Single Collar Lock-On Grips
It really depends on the handlebar. It took me forever to find a way to glue them to my current handlebars, because they would always start rotating after a few rides. In the end I sanded off most of the anodisation to make them truly stick.
