I liked this ,it had a lot of interesting angles..not sure about the music ,but still a great vid
  • + 33
Yeah, well, music is always very subjective and, in some ways, the hardest part of making the video.
  • + 6
i completely agree ..its the reason why some of my edits never make it to be posted because i have such a hard time picking music ..:/
  • + 8
I really liked the choice of music on this one... different can be good. fun vid.
  • + 1
Not entirely sure what this mix is, but the original song is It's bad you know by R.L. Burnside

wow I want one of those fucking coffee things
  • + 5
I got super tripped watching that backward bit. Nice job. Looked really believable. And nice vid.
  • + 9
i want a cup of coffee now
  • + 1
That statement is exactly right because we all enjoy the riding because riding is riding, but everyone has different tastes in music Smile
  • + 1
you can get one of those "coffee things" at a thrift store
  • + 3
Aint gonna lie.. but should so be used as a advert.. Im so bought!
  • + 6
im in honest id rather have a cup of tea!
  • + 3
coffee in the mornin, tea in the afternoon!
  • + 1
Well, it is kinda an advert ... make sure you go to the OmKafe in Riva then next time you're there Wink
  • + 1
who cares about song choices i thought the trail was super flowy and the riders made it flow. great video!! Big Grin
  • + 1
The music choice and sound design matters a lot more than you would think in making a good video!
  • + 2
I really liked this vod, made me get up and make some coffee haha
  • - 4
has anyone noticed the videos of the day are getting a little lamer by the day what ever happened to FREE RIDE mountain biking is it just me or are all most all Vod's seem to trail riding I don't know about anyone else but i like riding trails not watching other people ride single track trails and the occasional table top
  • + 3
personally i love the trail riding vods because that's my favorite type of riding
  • - 1
 coffes gross
  • + 0
I just don't understand why every single cut was a dissolve, it got super annoying
  • + 4
When I stop mid ride I am not packing coffee into a bowl, hee hee
  • + 1
not the biggest fan of the long intro but sick riding and filming
[Reply]
  • + 6
I do that sometimes with a bong
  • - 1
you make coffee in your bong? that doesnt sound like it tastes too good...
[Reply]
  • + 3
There is nothing better than an awesome cup of black gold before a ride. Before all of this energy crap came out, mtb pioneers were drinking coffee to keep them going, not Monster...
[Reply]
  • + 2
people being critical about something they did make..... lol

if you think you can make a better video, go and do it. who's stopping you? then see what people say about your work.

i like the vid. reminds me of some of the stuff in the mountains near my place!
[Reply]
  • + 5
Stop drinking coffee and get on the trail haha great affect where you reverse you dropping the bikes
[Reply]
  • + 3
Good ideas, just the frame rate of the video looks abit wierd but i always feel the same when i watch 60p, Will probs VOD if the frame rate thing is just my eyes Big Grin
  • + 2
frame rate does look a bit weird. Good video though
  • - 15
why the hell did i just waste 1 minute of my life watching somebody make coffee?

rest of the vid was good tho
  • - 6
 ^ agreed.
  • + 2
@brosephgrant, I was thinking the same thing. If the coffee making was filmed at 24fps, or even 30fps, it would look incredible! The shots were spectacular but the awkward frame rate definitely took away from it. For me at least.
  • - 4
 are you being serious??

why would coffee making look incredible at 30fps? Spending one minute watching somebody make coffee was one of the least interesting things ive ever had to watch. Its ridiculous.

If it was like 10 seconds it would have been fine but they must have spent a while filming it, what a waste of time.
And who brings out a coffee maker to their trails? ive never seen anybody do that before..
  • + 2
I am being serious. It was well filmed and cool to watch.
  • + 1
 dont break your tea cups

great vid regardless of what the morons say about making coffee at the start i thought it was a great intro the only bad thing is the music choice however its a video not an mp3 what really matters is the vid and i have to say it was great. Smile loving the trails dunno what they put in that coffee though lol just messin' anyway great vod and keep up the good work Big Grin

awesome video! I'm so happy to finally hear a good song in a bike video. RL burnside is one of the greats of modern blues.
[Reply]
  • + 3
That was so good, got me stoked to ride. The intro encapsulated what I enjoy about biking, cheers bro

Nice vid. I can see a definite Ionate/Virtuous/Vast influence to your film-making. Good on you for keeping the coffee bit long - there's more to riding videos than roosts and boosts! Keep it up...
[Reply]
  • + 1
nice video Big Grin but looks a little gay , all that ritual of making cup of coffeBig Grin i would drink red bull or something like ice coffe to get back faster to riding.
  • + 8
Sometimes you need to slow down and enjoy life, it's not just a race... The simple act of making a good cup of coffee and enjoying it is one of my favorite things.
  • + 1
 hahaha love bong coffee
[Reply]

 @1:01 time

So is that what happens when you have a new shiny bike, they stand up on there own...
[Reply]
  • + 1
U guys are gd, you look like you are thrashing the trail, not like most people who look like they are hanging on for dear life
[Reply]
  • - 1
To everyone that says that the coffee making is gay, thats normally what people are going to drink before they go, snowboarding/ skiing, biking, surfing or any other kind of sport... And it's a unique way to make coffee i thought i've never seen it made that way. I thought the video was awesome! They had great shots and there biking was really good! Great job guys, Love the video!

Sugar in your coffee? its lucky your riding was sick, you redeemed your manhood!
  • + 1
when it comes to coffee, blacker is better, that's what i have to say besides that looks like some fun trail
[Reply]
  • + 2
 that was really well done
[Reply]
  • + 2
Looks speeded up? or mabye just the frame rate?
  • + 1
60fps does that, and the video mic makes a difference too.
  • + 2
Nothing was speeded up actually. Shot at 50 fps. It was cut tightly, perhaps that is giving the effect. Thanks for feedback anyway.
  • + 1
 Which Microphone do you use?
  • + 1
Just the one on the cam, it records stereo and is surprisingly useful.
  • + 1
very impressive for a cam mic, i was fooled by that. what camera do you use?
  • + 1
its not a DSLR mic though, HDV tend to have much better mics Wink

Bad music. What happens when they drink redbull or monster then?
  • + 4
You just don't wanna be around when they do that, Dude.
  • + 1
redbull and monster have less caffeine than a properly made cup of coffee! if you make proper coffee you barely get effected by redbull
  • + 1
Coffee at home 90mg caffeine Big coffee at Starbucks 260mg Red Bull 80mg Monster 160mg Rockstar 240mg Arizona green tea 200mg
  • + 1
where are you getting that from?
if your coffees are 90mg caffeine at home that can only refer to a weak instant coffee, the ones i have are a hell of a lot stronger than anything starbucks do.
also it might be different for you, but in the UK monster and rockstar are exactly the same caffeine content
  • + 1
I got some of it off this site. www.energyfiend.com/the-caffeine-database

I think the 90mg was reffering to average drip coffee. Starbucks is usually considdered pretty strong. Not Capuccino strong but normal coffee strong.

But doesnt really matter when I have a Large coffee from Starbucks on the trip to Whistler and stop for a refill in Squamish then get a Monster in the village.
