this is so sick. But i wouldn't say Vod cause i believe VOD's shouldn't come from Bike companies but should come from the riders of Pinkbike. But thats just My opinion

Oh man, 90% of the VODS dont come from PB riders...Stund? NWD? Lone Wolf?...yet they´re VODs, but i agree, i would prefer some amateur material

But guys, if all VOD's were 100% amateur they would be just that... amateur and nowhere near as good as the stuff the 'groups' are bringing us, for free. I really don't understand why everyone isn't behind them giving us awesome stuff.

i see your point, its ok to have a bit of "group" VOD's but since VOD's been full of Stund, it would be nice to see a bit more amateur vids for the next while.

@David-hill Teams or crews being sponsored is a bit different then an actual advert for a bike. This is just that an advert for a kona supreme, Simple marketing, make an epic video people will think the bike is epic. Smile

The way I look at it, VOD is a showcase of the best videos on Pinkbike. Kona put out a quality video, so it got VOD. Plain and simple. Further, all the guys at Kona (and most other bike companies) are riders themselves, so why should they be excluded from contention just because they happen to make a living from it as well? A rider is a rider. Yeah it's marketing, but you know every time you see an amateur video, and the riders sponsors come up? Yeah, that's also marketing. If it wasn't for marketing, this great community called Pinkbike probably wouldn't exist, and it certainly wouldn't be free.

You can do it with a lot of programs, like Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects but also with Sony Vegas.
