NORRONA (V) MAGAZINE fjørå replayed
Deep in Norway's Sunnmøre fjords is the small village of Fjørå. Over the centuries, local farmers have cleared trails up and down the steep mountainsides. Today, those trails challenge technical mountain bikers who descend to the rocky shore from 1100 metres over sea level.

The greatest thing with Fjörå is that you can shuttle really high, look after the highest roads in the distant shots and you can see that the remaining hike to the very top is just a couple of hundred height meters.
The minute costs for a seriously good filming-helicopter is higher than you think and absolutely not made to fit bikes and riders Armin who was riding in orange is actually an awesome enduro rider and used to hiking, he ran up the hill while I was struggling, I mostly ride liftaccesed-downhill.

Ah fair enough, lift accessed is definitely the best. Pushing up uses up so much energy, I'm quite fit but I'm no enduro rider.

This video confirms it, I REALLY need a helicopter... and a sizable travel budget.
Norway looks amazing. great riding too, gents.

And it also confirms that the mountain bike industry has a playlist that's 10 songs long.
Aside from that, incredible shots, movie-worthy edit.

I recommend a Sikorsky S-76, plush accommodations and super reliable. You could probably grab one up for just over $1M. www.aircraftonsale.com/details.php?id=495

Nydelig film...faster n' Fjøråiously to fjord foreshore eh?
Fully appreciating the Apocolypse Now helicopeter footage of my favourite singletrack..
Have been fortunate enough to ride this locale for a few fine seasons, there's a few pics of it on my page here...however I am utterly gobsmacked by the fint Fjørå-flow and airborne imagery.
Cheers,
J

This is gorgeous. The cable camera shots are some of the best I've seen - does anyone else have any great cablecam shot singletrack videos like this?

I was luckily enough to live in Norway for one year and it was one of the best times in my live. Such a beautiful country. What I liked most is the fact that so many people know more than working, earnig money, working, ...
It is expensive for sure but the average wages are way higher than in Germany for example. So if you have a job, it's affordable. One day, I will be back
Well deserved VOD for sure.
