Thenos09 has obviously never ridden a hardtail before.1st each to there own people ride what they want to ride if that be a hardtail all the more better because it makes you a better rider all round and are way more fun to ride than"duallies" because you have to actually ride your bike rather than just let 8 inches let you get away with murder!2nd I'm glad to see hardtail riders out there shredding, there are far far too many edits with people "shredding" buttery smooth trails on dh bikes

I agree with you completely. Me and many of my friends agree that anyone should start riding mountain bikes on hardtail. Because it simply teaches you many skills that I see lot of riders who have never ridden them lacking or even completelly missing. When we started riding 10 years ago fs dh bikes were pretty much rocket science and hardtails were our only options, for xc, park, dj, freeride or dh. I went back to the roots last year with "modern" am/enduro hardtail, which outperforms any heavyweighter of 10 years ago by mile but essence is still there (also brands like dartmoor make it extremely affordable). I'm riding full suspended bike atm but will never forget my first commencal hardtail which basically thought me how to ride bike! And this video is a manifesto of HT spirit!

Mate I didn't rip into people on full sus bikes,I actually want to get a dartmoor wish myself for the really rough stuff.what I ripped into is the fact that people think all mountain bikes should be "duallies" and the hardtail is dead,it's clearly not dead and is just as much fun if not more fun than full sus.what I was getting at is that having all that travel just makes it so much easier to get away with loads more that you can't on a hardtail

Once upon a time french people crossed these areas and were called "coureurs des bois" ; nowadays these "coureurs des bois" would use this type of bikes for their ride.
This video is about the same spirit ; Nick Tingren is a new "coureur des bois" à l'allure de prophète frottant l'humus.
Nice video
