My first thoughts exactly. Technically it was released in 2009 and 2012 stuff will be hitting the shops soon, so this bike is nearly three years old. Not Giant's proudest marketing moment, and I am a giant Giant fan.

Actually, Giant DO have to do something: Giant have naming rights to the contest and are getting plenty of exposure for it, and remind me each time I've logged in recently.

You misunderstand me (and I expect Chronsy too), so let me try to make it clear. My gripe is NOT about the quality of the bike. To me (and others) it seems as if someone at Giant said "Well, what we got lying around here we can give away...". The better attitude would have been "Hey, since we are using this contest as an advertising opportunity, let's advertise our latest and greatest product!"

I love my STP and it is far older than that one. The winner will be stoked because it is a great bike.
