Well buying this video ----> supporting all those guys that worked hard to get where they are now. They are an inspiration to lots of folks around the globe and they dont ussualy bitch about the money, they just wanna ride bikes. And thats the numero uno for me. Most of their videos are free to watch anyways! Plus, I rather buy this movie and really enjoi it than some blockbuster from hollywood that is full of shit. Thats my opinion on the matter at hand. If you have enough money, support the sport!

$10 off itunes, very reasonable imo
  • 6 1

I think its worth paying $30 to support Anthill.

I think they've earned it, and if my money helps then make another film, all the better.
  • 8 1
agreed, no-one should be ripping this off the internet, supporting the bike film industry is important!
  • 3 2
Pay 10 bucks on itunes, and play it through to the tv... then you can watch it every where

Or buy a Pinkbike membership and get a discount through the Pinkbike store and help support the community in a whole!!!!

naw, don't buy from those greedy SOBS at apple with their crippling DRM. HD on itunes is rarely "HD".
..buy the DVD from anthill. or what Dchomey said
  • 2 0
Fair enough, but no matter how we buy it its still going to be amazing
  • 2 0
And why don't they sell them on blu-ray - the trailers are in HD and it would look even more awesome (particular the still the video is on above).

Or even a HD download (without DRM) - Aziz Ansari does it and it was very profitable for him.

I think it is coming out on Blu-ray, Weve been told by RedBull that's the format its getting supplied on for the Scottish Premier in Dundee anyway!
More info on Dundee Charity Premier here. www.facebook.com/theambta.

I think its because he's been injured?

Alright, I may get some haters, but I was at the premier and I felt that this film was a little bit of a letdown compared to other mtb premiers over the years. What I LOVED was all the great riding, the segment quotes were interesting and the slow motion usage was phenomenal. The action editing was done really, really well. What this movie lacked for me was cohesion. I left feeling like the thread between the segments was invisible. The "theme" was lost as each segment seemed to be it's own mini-film versus a natural flow or progression from the last segment. I left thinking I had seen 10 films, not one piece of work. Please don't get me wrong, I had a blast watching this and it was Sea Otter, but I literally lost interest about mid-way. My attention wandered. That is a clear sign for me of something missing. The answer? Maybe bringing in additional writers from outside the mtb film community to review the script and give some input. Just an idea. All that being said, THANK YOU for making the film and I had a ton of fun at the premier. Humbly hitting the "Submit" Post button.

Hey painrus2, Moscow premiere is on May, 18th at Almaz Cinema. We have set up it just couple days ago. It's a 500+ seats difital theatre so if you don't invite ALL of your Moscow friends there we're never ever doing a MTB premiere again. Go here and invite all of your buddies from Moscow:

So - I'm probably just missing something obvious - but I preordered the DVD / Blu-Ray - and I have no idea when it's supposed to ship. Any hints?
  • 1 0
the white balance for the camera was way off - too much red in the pictures. Lots of red skin and red noses... OR perhaps the people drank too much Smile ))
  • 1 0
next time you guys should make the premier in Van. Look at the turnout, probably double what you got in CA. With only a couple days notice...
  • 2 1
What is the song used in the actual riding of this video? When the slow-mo of the wheel spinning gets close to the camera

hey can any body tell me that how can i get this video in India or can anyone help me by sharing any download link.
  • 3 5
Agreed- 30 bucks for a bike vid is way more than I would pay. I still do not own any videos because I can't jsutify it. For 30 bucks I can buy a FEW full length DVD's. I'll wait until this is old news and pick it up used...maybe. Great trailer, very inspiring! Anthill makes some of my favorite vids. Smile

Or just take advantage of the free low-quality stream that will be available in a couple weeks courtesy of Anthill, and quit complaining.
