"Don’t let its familiar good looks fool you—Reverb is a whole new weapon. Its internals have been completely re-engineered to improve on its already legendary performance..."

Well youre not fooling us with that sentence, because it was far from legendary...
  • 8 0
Well to be fair if you quote the whole thing is does say "...and to offer enhanced reliability" and to be honest the performance, just the simple press button seat goes up, press button seat goes down part of a reverb is very good (I don't think its the stuff of legends but its a marketing thing, what can you do)
  • 19 6
I really don't agree with you. I've had 6 years of faultless service from mine, and now have a stealth which has also been faultless. To be honest, the reverb was there right at the beginning of the dropper post explosion and they were the first ones that really worked. I remember being quietly happy that I bought a reverb while my friends suffered with their command posts, kronologs and the like. It's like neil young albums, there are some duds but they have done enough to achieve legend status.
  • 11 3
@GeeHad: Dude youve gotten lucky then.
  • 2 2
@faceplantfeind: Not saying its legendary. Just far fetched thats all.
  • 4 1
@GeeHad: I've had one since 13' with no issues myself. I have another bike with a KS LEV integra only for a year with no problems. I'm also super anal about maintenance though.
  • 3 3
@GeeHad: you're one of the lucky few then, if you see the amount that break and go wrong they are definitely far from the legendary status
  • 7 2
Rockshox is releasing a new dropper, suspension seat post for 2017. It's called a reverb that needs service!
  • 3 2
I think what there saying is, you may be able to ride it for 1.5 months this time before requesting a warranty. Quality SRAM, always the first, always the worst.
  • 12 2
To everyone here complaining about how terrible the Reverb is, by all means, DO NOT ENTER THIS DRAWING. Those of us who wouldn't mind winning it would appreciate the slightly better odds.
  • 4 4
@TheR: If I win it, you can have it. Like really. You gotta pay shipping.
  • 2 0
@chillrider199: if you're serious, I'm down with that. Best of luck to both of us.
  • 9 1
The only reason these ever blew up was that the rider didn't understand basic care procedures (keeping the post stored in the "up" position) because so many shops failed to inform them of it.

If you force a circuit to spend 99% of its life under maximum pressure it makes sense you might blow a couple seals.
  • 1 4
@TheR: Im dead serious haha. Because you made a good point. Why enter if you dont want it? I dont know probably because Im an American...
  • 4 0
 @GeeHad: I've got 2 Reverbs no problems over a combined 5yrs riding.
  • 2 0
I'm on a 14' with zero issues ever. Got it set up with a bike yoke cable pull with a shifter style trigger. So sick.
  • 3 0
@allix2456: Makes sense. I always stored it compressed cuz it looks more DH sitting in my apt. I'm going to have to get used to the XC look with my Transfer.
  • 1 0
 @chillrider199: Because Buy/Sell.
  • 1 1
@endlessblockades: too much work sometimes haha.
  • 1 0
@GeeHad: can you explain why my reverb on my hightower that's been ridden less than 15 times needs a rebuild? Lol
  • 22 1
I have a rebuild kit ready for that seat post. Give it to me
  • 2 3
Save those parts for your current Reverb! Don't enter the contest today!

  • 2 0
Now with twice the load! You don't want that! Don't enter the contest.
  • 12 3
 once again, i'll win nothing!!
  • 3 1
same, not that i need a dropper
  • 10 0
I won a Gameboy once, that's probably my lifetime allotment.
  • 3 0
@sniperboy13: if you don't need something, then it's best to not enter and let someone without the financial capability enjoy a dropper, or something else.
  • 8 0
As long as a real actual someone, somewhere, somehow and someday wins something awesomely bikey, then I am happy!
  • 9 0
this is literally my favourite time of the year.
  • 3 0
I've been ran both Reverbs and Command Posts, averaging between 180 and 220 rides per year. Never experienced a single issue with the Reverbs, can't say the same of Command Posts, which lost air constantly and required frequent cable and housing maintenance to make sure they worked smoothly. Reverb is superior.
  • 5 0
3 years on my reverb, rides twice a week and never been serviced. Works perfectly!
  • 2 0
Just keeping to regular service intervals, each time it has a failure....
  • 1 0
@KiwiXC: Servicing is where you're going wrong, if it ain't broke don't fix it! ????
  • 1 0
 My command post is shit
  • 4 0
 Good luck everyone!
