DorvalAm/CommencalAfter a good winter preparation season, we were confident about the preparation of the bikes, the shape of the drivers and their motivations. After this short and special 2020 season, which still smiled at us, we all wanted to know if we could confirm our progress. We can say these things done! Our new little nugget Alix Francoz started the day with a 12th place in the Junior category for his first World Cup despite a crash. Learning continues, but talent and speed are already present.
The women’s elite race was as if in a dream, our two women made a solid, clean, flawless run from start to finish.
"I was pretty confident coming into Leogang, I guess the muddy conditions helped to remind me of what I’m capable of. That confidence grew over the weekend during practice, it was amazing to be able to execute the run exactly how I imagined it!" - Camille Balanche.
We knew pretty quickly that we were going to see DorvalAm/Commencal jerseys on the podium, but in passing the last competitor is the explosion, a remake of the World Championship. Camille won the Leogang World Cup and Monika finished 3rd. What a race !

Propain Factory Racing | Join the journey with Propain Factory Racing in the first episode of their 2021 video series.
At the beginning of June the team headed up to Schladming for the last testing of the new Propain Downhill Bike. One week of riding the legendary downhill track brought us some excitement before heading up to Leogang for the First World Cup in 2021.
World Cup Round 1 - Leogang. The weather has made conditions tricky this year as well, it was a lottery during qualifying runs due to the intermittent weather giving some guys a dryer track than others! All of our guys crashed in their runs, but only George made the cut to finals.
Big lesson for our first year junior rider Remy Meier-Smith and first year elite rider Luke Meier-Smith. We are sure the experience collected here will pay off in the future.
George finished 36th in Finals with a crash.
Looking forward for some good times at Crankworx and preparing for another round of World Cup racing in couple of weeks at Les Gets.

KHS Pro TeamIt’s the most exciting part of the year with World Cup racing beginning in Leogang, Austria! It would be Steven Walton & Nik Nestoroff who would be making the European trip to compete at the highest level of racing. They would be flying from Los Angeles, California all the way into Munich, Germany to race. A lot of pre-trip planning and documentation would go into this trip to make it as safe as possible and following the CDC guidelines. Nik and Steven would be showing up one week in advance before the first round. To dial in their KHS Downhill bikes and get their feet underneath them with time changes, jet lag, language adjustments and do some overall testing to adjust to the European Alps.
