Can't wait for this race as this bike park is absolutely incredible. I ride it every summer on my Spark RC 100mm. You get a lift pass for the whole day and just ride ride ride. There are superb black trails, reds and the blue trail Rock n Rolla from the summit of Szyndzelnia goes on for ever right to the bottom on the other side of the range. I have unfinished business on one trail which loops under the uplift as i got two flats, split the tyre and ran out of tubes and gas so i'll be back this summer! There's a brutal rock gap/right hand turn on Dziabar which stops you in your tracks! There are numerous places to hire bikes and the weather is fricken superb. Last summer i rode every trail there about 70km all in in about 40C. But had to walk an hour back from the uplift to the car with a seeping tyre wasn't fun ha. Enjoy

Useful info for a possible future trip, cheers.

Every official trail or did you do some of the unofficial ones as well? The thought of doing some of the trails on a Spark makes me scared a little

Agreed. Used to work at IEM Katowice each year and made a point to go once. Really angry I didn't go more. Great spot!

@pooceq: Hi, I did all the official mapped ones including a ride up to Klimczok and around there, but have seen various unofficial ones on the strava heatmap heading off from Cyberniok viewpoint, so i'm keen to check them out. When I rode the trails on the Cyganski Las side it required riding up Daglezowy trail about six times haha. Yeah the Spark is good, as it climbs so well, but my Rekon Race tyres got shredded. Definitely need something beefier this summer.

@jimxc: you may want to give some unsanctioned ones a try, there's a nice 3km-long trail from the summit to the dam, you just need to climb a bit from the upper lift station and take a right turn into the woods

@uerbe: exactly, Wilkowice, Straconka and Gaiki should also be worthwhile. They're not exactly in the same place, but close enough

Great to have the full course preview back

Absolutely love Josh, brings some humor and awesome riding to the series, the work he did on the E Reign for Giant also was incredible

Poland is an amazing place to ride, its good that people outside the country are now "discovering" it

The Rock n Rolla/Sahaira/Gondola passing just under the uplift and down the river bed is my all-time fav combo.

Yeah man, those trails are superb. I love how Sahaira finishes and you go flying into Gondola and just don't stop (until your tyre splits). Straight back up to do it again over and over. Nara

Finally some trails that look like what I’d be riding here in Maryland. Not crazy steep but super rocky. The trails resemble more a hiking trail than a bike trail. Also, it seems like the riders will have much less climbing to do than for example in Finale Ligure or Whistler. If my math is right about it’s about 3900ft of climbing considering that one of the liaisons will be lift assisted. That is something even I could do in one day.

@edspratt no live timing post for the race today? Genuinely curious, not trying to be a dick. If the plan is to just do a recap instead since the last live timing post was kind of a mess, I get it. With the way the coverage is from the UCI I'm sure it's challenging to have something engaging to put out during the race

Yes, there's no live timing post for today. After the last round's timing issues and some complaints in the comments, we are posting results straight after the elite men finish today. We want to keep doing live stage results for enduro, but we need to find a way that works and is useful for people following along.

@edspratt: makes sense, not an easy task to appease the rabble down here. Hope you guys are able to figure something out!

@edspratt: I truly have enjoyed your coverage with the format that’s stage by stage and incorporates the pro’s helmet cam to introduce the stage and the followed by a short synopsis of what happened and the top 10 data. I actually wait till the race is finished and then make a cup of coffee and enjoy moving from stage to stage …definitely missed it when I checked in this afternoon ..I already had my coffee ready

They seem like they're actually putting forth an effort to produce more content for us. Cool

 Josh killing it !

I am also wondering whether riders will go for shorter travel bikes this weekend? Something around 160 mm might suffice and might be advantageous on the numerous flat/pedaly sections.

Great to see a proper course preview again

Absolutely sucks that Charles Murray’s first possible win is not followable in a comments more viewed way.
Live timing or updates Pinkbike. It is there.

After issues at the last round and complaints about our coverage, we are rethinking our live enduro result articles. Hopefully, we can have live coverage back for the next round.

@edspratt: I read that. Not blaming Pinkbike. You take the heat for something out of your control. Feel bad for the athletes.

 @edspratt: that was racing. Wow.

I am frothed by the frother

That's going to be some awesome racing!
