To celebrate the launch of the new TURQ Limited Edition Series, the crew at Deity venture into their backyard of Idaho to explore some of the trails that make the state a growing top tier riding destination.
With Taylor Reed from Reed Cycles and his TURQ equipped Yeti in tow, get a glimpse at just a few reasons why Idaho is becoming one of the fastest growing states in the country in the latest Deity production, "Hometown".
I like Deity gear and have a lot on my dj bikes. Lately however they have dropped the emphasis on building and digging. No shovels, picks or trees on their apparel anymore. Just racing. I know their is way more money in enduro, but please Eric and Sadie, don’t let go of the culture that made Deity awesome.
Washington, Utah, Oregon, and Wyoming are effin’ AWESOME! The riding here is terrible and overrun with Californian’s stinking the place up. Just keep moving along, nothing to see or do...
Idaho IS awesome. Used to just pass through on the the way to Utah, Colorado, Arizona, etc, but not any more. There is great riding and still far more bike shops than art galleries, sorry Moab....Sedona. Last year we discovered the desert riding of Boise, they even have full time paid city staff that look after the Bike Park in Eagle. oops sorry didn't mean to wake up the hoards in search of the holly trail of MTB the first comments were probably correct "Idaho is full but I hear North Dakota is nice. Idaho is horrible. Nothing to do here. No one else move here." Oh and great vid!
I’d love to move there. Just need a job lined up. Been working on it for a bit. Eagle bike park is amazing, great riding everywhere in the state. Every time I’ve visited it grabs my heart. Beautiful state.
It's ok. You can go ride idaho's amazing trails and look at its beauty. As an idahoan I allow it. But leave it just like you found it. That means don't move here (our population is the perfect size), don't pollute it (we are very proud of our conservation programs), and don't bring your politics here (we are conservative and that's why is such a great place to live)!
Love Idaho. First couple of visits everyone tried to convince me it's a barren hole with nothing to do, but with every visit i found more and more to love about that place. It has so many hidden gems, beautiful great outdoors, and some of the nicest people i've met throughout the States.
I can swear i rode some of these trails - is that in the Payette area? Goose Creek?
