 10/10 would crash

I like that this is from 2007 and yet the rider is on a single-crown fork with an XC lid riding some seriously high consequence shit. Commonplace today, but would've seemed super gnarly back then.

Someone doing that in a full face today would still be gnarly.

This was average back then and even before without or minimal padding. Of course back the we were out for a week or so after a crash though. Pads are great and so is the North Shore!

This is a quintessential " Sterling shot" . Sterling brought Free ride to the masses with his iconic North Shore photography.
It's beyond POD it's Art and it's a beautiful example of mountain biking culture.

I think what is really gnarly about this is that you're not going to brake on any part of this because if you do you will slide into the abyss and die

Nice shot; can almost feel myself staring down to what lies ahead on the next section of the trail.

Sterling is THE MAN! When I was a kid I used to get so pumped seeing his photos, then go ride with my buddies in the forest behind our houses. Great times.
