That is a ridiculous suggestion... The risk of it catching fire isn't really the issue, it's more just the effort involved in doing that would not be worth it. You would be far better to just rough up the boards a bit with a chain saw or any number of other methods. But taking fire to a wooden ramp in the woods would not be my first idea.
you either walk through the creek and up the other side, or climb up a 50 degree slope to an old road. It's definatly a one hit wonder....not something you'd want to do everyday!
