Ya, and just so you know Dr-Jackal, everyone always says you have nice parents, spoiled, spoiled bastards and stuff like that. But the fact is, I buy all my bikes, parts, and gear all by myself, my parents have nothing to do with it, I work and save up for all my stuff! So don't think I just get this stuff bought for me. Derek Kidd (above^^^) hooked me up with both my Dobermann's and even ask him, it took me a couple month's to be able to afford this, and I sold parts, saved and did everything I could, my mum lent me $300 for this frame, and I had to pay her back the next week, she made me. So I pay for it all!
pink lol it looks more light purple than pink to me for sure.....but still a very nice looking build hows it ride ..hey could you tell me honestly is that frame better than a hard tail for dirt jumping and stuff..if so what are the Pros vs Cons to having so little rear travel..also does it bottom out easily or what.....i just never tried one my self and just wondering ...and one last thing if you don't mind what category would you consider the bike to be in ..like is it a dirt jumper or freeride or 4x4
Well it rides amazing man, and to be completely honest, I hated full suspensions and I thought it was the stupidest thing ever until I got this and I realized how much fun they are . They fell just like a hardtail but you can just coast over everything very smooth. And I don't have and cons yet because have only ridden it at my local hill twice, but if you really want to find out what the cons are message, "dkidd" who sold me the frame and rear shock from OBB and he will answer any of your questions. And i have never bottom it out, yet, and I weigh 214 lbs, but i do not know if i will, and it is a SS bike but if i had to choose a category I would choose dirt jumper just because it fells just like one.
ya i will do that thanks ...and me i could not see my self going from 8.75" travel rear to any thing less lol..and ya i was thinking dj for sure it looks the part..i wish someone close to me would buy one so i can try it out before making a decision on dual suspension dj bike ..here is another quick Q how active is the rear end when going in to say a jump or bunny hop does it stay firm and give you a hardtail feel or is it soft and reactive like a fully is
i wish every one i know either has a dh rig or a dirt jumper and a few have both like my self but unfortunately no one has a dual suspension dirt jumper...thats why i ask about it cause i only see them in photos and on the big mountain but not someone i know ...i'm thinking about one day later getting one when they are a bit cheaper
Alex,if you get what your asking for them Rockshox Argyle Purpletraitors, and i reckon you probably will get a good price cos it is,and always has been a top fork. But when ya do sell it,why not sit on the cash and do a bit of saving and get yaself a Fox 32,831 dirt, street, slope fork.Cos i think you'll agree m8,although the Fox 831 is expensive,it's the most perfect fork in the whole Fox line up for your Le-Pink. The Le-Pink and the 831 were made for each other.Just my opinion Alex. Gary.
I hear ya Alex, but you'll be able to pull something out of ya sleeve for the Le-Pink,i mean she deserves it.And ya'd not be able to get a more suited fork for the job,but i do hear ya,it's a lot of cash to part with for a fork. But your flat black Le-Pink,and the flat black of the 831,would be a marriage made in heaven, but i suppose that's what dreams are for eh Alex m8.Ha-ha-ha. Gary.
I need some 2 inch purple bars to go with my argyle. The purple in the pics on chain reaction cycles are darker so I'm guessing its just the pic cause here they match
Or don't do paper route and get a real job, and during the winter, canvas for bottles in your local neighbourhood and say it is to fund you bike parts and lift tickets, and no one want's to go out in the cold, so you make alot of money, my buddy and I made $180 ($90 each) in 3.5 hours.
Haha ya I hate my paperroute! I want to quite after Christmas. Get lots of tips And ya I know I just don't know what job to do, cause im only 13 and no one wants to hire a 13 year old...
Ahh, don't have a farmers market here don't think...I don't think I would want to do that anyways. I want to work with animals sort of...no idea really
Haha yeah I don't know. All I know is I need a job! Sucks cause once summer comes I have a feeling I'm going to need money for bike repairs. Gotta get a job soon!
Ya I want to do that...except theres one little itty bitty problem, right now, THERES NO SNOW! There should be more coming soon, in November we had some.
Yeahh!! Except I need new brake pads No time this weekend. Well I have rear ones I need to put on, but the front brake pads I don't have Plus not a lot of trails to ride. The one that has a pretty good jump, just fun to rip down trails, they are thinking about tearing down, and its like 10 minutes from my house. So that sucks...
dude... calm down.
