Straitline DeFacto

$60 CAD
Some scratches, no pins missing. These are grippy, tough, and easily rebuildable. Only selling to fund something thinner for my AM bike.

Video: Setting the Guinness World Records Achievement for the Greatest Vertical Descent in 24 hours
How did they set up their bikes? Cushy grips? What lights did they use? Were tires picked for speed or just grip during the redeye hours? Did they do anything to strengthen their hands and wrists for this kind of abuse? All this information would have made this article way more interesting to me. From Mercedes, I would have been a lot more interested if there was technical information about the truck. What makes it an ideal vehicle for this - what makes it better than literally any other crew cab pickup? What's the suspension design? Is there a turbo, to avoid power loss at altitude? MTBers are gearheads; play to that. Don't just do this because you know bikes are expensive so riders must have money to spend on a truck. An outdoors-oriented influencer I follow on Instagram was given or lent a Mercedes SUV to create content, and I thought it weakened her brand without strengthening theirs. Jarring to see this tough hiker posting pics of a shiny vehicle no one else will ever drive to those remote trailheads. It was similarly disingenuous.

The Prius runs a pretty simple MacPherson strut setup that is definitely not optimized for performance

Chromag Announces Doctahawk, a Super Aggressive 180mm, 29er Hardtail
This begs an important question: why has no one paired a 180mm rear suspension with a 75* head angle and rigid fork?
