Great POD. I am glad that Pinkbike is featuring more and more XC riding.

RobbyBriers (Feb 4, 2012 at 6:23)

Agreed. I'm just glad they are featuring more and more different types of riding. I'd like to see some Flatland, art riding, vert bmx, street, xc, dh, fr, hucks, insanely epic landscapes etc... And that's where we're heading to.

rhiwfawrdirt (Feb 4, 2012 at 6:32)

whats art riding?

1110

RobbyBriers (Feb 4, 2012 at 7:27)

It's a mix between fixie riding and gymnastics: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiE1Qm7HSd8

supafli (Feb 4, 2012 at 7:34)

im going to spend the day giving props to every comment

JonathanCarre (Feb 4, 2012 at 8:38)

Definitely good to see XC images appearing more frequently, especially as I reckon that's what a large percentage of PB users mainly ride.

notthatslow (Feb 4, 2012 at 8:45)

art riding definitely sounds like the worst thing ever... unlike this photo, which is rad

Smells (Feb 4, 2012 at 8:49)

WOW that fixie vid was crazy!! I also love the XC pics as well, loving the variety in PODs now.. Not that I didn't love them already..

paulclarke (Feb 4, 2012 at 10:00)

Watch the video. I hope and know that PB will never feature that crap. dont worry guys, we're safe.

amacdonald (Feb 4, 2012 at 13:11)

the amount of balance and strength in that fixie vid was crazy but if that was ever featured on pb I may cry

toddonbike (Feb 4, 2012 at 13:15)

you don't have to be a genius to appreciate fixie: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu2MrSxuPz8&feature=player_embedded
and this is art: vimeo.com/30574825
but this probably isn't the place except: vimeo.com/26405661 now that's badass!

theSAMmai (Feb 4, 2012 at 15:32)

I have a feeling pinkbike's going to troll us with art riding april fools...

RedShredder (Feb 4, 2012 at 15:59)

RobbyBriers: that was an amazing vid! She's got some serious skill! Incredible upper body strength too. I think she should be rocking a full face for doing some of those stunts though! ahaha

BiffBonner (Feb 4, 2012 at 18:15)

RAD POD! truly captures all mountain

taletotell (Feb 4, 2012 at 6:09)

Beautiful pic. Every time I look at a trail like that I think "man they could have done more with that", but that is just a FR brain in action

boylagz (Feb 4, 2012 at 0:01)

Congrats on this pod dude.

lionsphinx (Feb 4, 2012 at 0:23)

ManuelMTB (Feb 4, 2012 at 6:49)

Nice shot! Love the composition

lalodh (Feb 4, 2012 at 7:50)

The picture has to be very good if Eric Palmer is writing a good comment. Cheers South Africa, I want to go back so bad.

dingus (Feb 2, 2012 at 10:47)

Flashes?

duncanp (Feb 2, 2012 at 10:51)

No, its odd how the shadows worked out on this one.. I've done no local adjustments to the photos so everything's in the same relative tone as it was SOOC if that makes any sense.

dingus (Feb 2, 2012 at 10:58)

Yeah. The light on his face and jacket is good. Made me think it might be from flashes, but everything else looks natural. Trixy.

ericpalmer (Feb 4, 2012 at 0:24)

That is some mint natural light! Nice work Sir! Loving this whole series, makes you appreciate this shot more.

pierma (Feb 4, 2012 at 2:16)

seems a good scheme of flash, but there is a beautiful ray of sunshine behind the rider, compliments for the choice of frame

lumpy12 (Feb 4, 2012 at 11:56)

nouser (Feb 4, 2012 at 9:04)
