Steep angles are a ploy from BigSeatTube, anyone who actually likes to ride their bike to somewhere understands that they’re unnecessary and can be problematic for those with long femur bones :P

Review: Specialized’s New Epic 8 - All the Speed You Need

I’m curious as to why they didn’t compare this to the Scott Spark, seeing as that’s also a 120/120 race bike with a single pivot flex stay. Yeah this one is pushing the geo a bit further, but comparing jt to the Rocky which is more of a trail bike imo doesn’t make a ton of sense. I didn’t really read the into the review that much, but isn’t this bike still being raced by pros?

Friend who went to school in Houghton and lived there for about 5 years said tons of people up there loved riding steel hardtails :P One of his riding group also rode a full rigid Kona Unit. That guy was nuts haha

@bbourne: "hundreds of hours" is faaaaar from the truth, mtb films have a lot leg work involved just to get anything done. Coordinating when to go to these almost random locations to build, and then film for a few days takes a lot of work they don't get to just meet up at Central Park every day and go ride around like skaters and bmx riders do. Brandon talks a bit about the time and money and labor involved in making one of these videos on the Unclicked Podcast with Dennis. And everyone should know by now that Brandon loves to actually make a whole package with one of these videos, not just a highlight reel. Showcasing good riding and actual effort put forth into the filming and editing. Even the one-shot video was a huge project to figure out, they didn't just pull up to some trail and send him down a hill

Something medical I believe. He hasn’t said anything specific but that’s what he’s alluded to on instagram, was having problems pre-season and then something seemed to come back around Brazil. Seems to be getting better now, miss seeing him race
