First of all, I want to say that I hope this great rider makes a full recovery.
I also can’t help but be surprised at how healthcare works in the U.S., and how people aren’t out in the streets every day protesting a system that takes advantage of everyone in that country.
If this had happened in another country like Spain (despite its own difficulties), there wouldn’t need to be a fundraiser on those typical websites that collect money when tragedies like this happen.
It’s time we finally opened our eyes.
