Spotted: Prototype SRAM Direct Mount Drivetrain - Les Gets XC World Champs 2022
More so to be separate from the frame I'd say, having to weld them back to the frame when they broke was a real pain.

It's the prototype Live Valve system that Jesse was also running last round, I guess they don't have compatibility with the X2.

Pinkbike Poll: Are You Satisfied With Your Brakes?
Also recommend MTX pads, they sorted the Sram squeal for me, even in the wet.

Pinkbike Poll: Are You Satisfied With Your Brakes?
Code RSC, Hope 220/200 rotors, and MTX Red pads. Plenty of power, no fade, dead quiet, even in the wet. The MTX pads are definitely the best change I've done in the past couple of years, far better than Shimano or Sram stock pads.

10 Products I Loved In 2021: Sarah Moore
I've had them after previously running DT 1200 Carbons and Flow EX3s. They make a huge difference compared to the usually harsh standard carbon rims, but there's not too much difference in feel overall between the Stans and the Zipps. Along with them being just 100g lighter/rimset, and costing about 6.5x as much, I found it better to just run the Stans. But they're amazing compared to regular carbon design!

That was bad timing on the article, I'd just paid off my last bike purchase! Now to wait for that bearing puller to come into stock...

Pinkbike Poll: Wild or Mild - What Makes A Bike Look Great?
@fabwizard: at least in my experience with Yeti's warranty, haven't had an issue. My last warranty frame was a random colour as the distro mentioned to Yeti that I'd be wrapping it anyway, so colour wasn't important. But for wrapping, I've stuck to 3M's 1080 and 2080 ranges, and it peels of cleanly, no residue or marking to the frame. Just don't by cheap stuff, makes everything difficult.

Interview: Brandon Semenuk Signs With Team MIPS
Had a similar incident with my A1 MIPS, my head left a dent in the ground. Destroyed the helmet, but no sore head/neck, even with the backside edges of the helmet filled with dirt. Sticking with MIPS from now on.

Pinkbike Poll: Wild or Mild - What Makes A Bike Look Great?
This is exactly why I've been vinyl wrapping my frame, as the warranty has come in handy twice so far.
