The Death Of Derailleurs? Avinox Announces Motor "Gearbox" - Eurobike 2026
I no longer identify with mountain biking. I enjoy it, I just don't identify with it the way I used to. The dirtbag is missing. The edge and the unpolishedness that was its charm has been gently pushed aside like an awkward uncle at a wedding. I kind of understand why companies have gone to the battery stuff but it appears to be a race with no clear end. I don't feel connected to wherever it is going. I keep coming back to PinkBike to maybe get that feeling again, but it just isn't here. Or maybe it's me?
