Opinion: Keeping the Spark Alive
I have a 2015/16 ish norco range that I bought new. I don't ride it as often as my xc bike but it does the likes of bike park wales and I took it to Morzine last year. It has a few upgrades but I've looked at replacing it many times and although I know a new bike would be better for a variety of reasons, I am yet to justify the costs involved.

@bigd003: the downvotes are probably more to do with the situation in the men's event than support for the ladies. The guys didn't step back to let the girls steal the show, and I'm not sure that if the guys event went ahead, would the crowd have stuck around for the ladies event? Who knows

I have a set of Tech V4's and I think I've bled them twice in the 5+ years I've owned them. Maybe it's an issue with the V2 but the V4's have been absolutely bombproof
the Ali freehub bodies are awful, but I don't know anyone who didn't swap it out for the steel version before they even fitted the hubs.
