Fox Factory 36 Grip2 29

$525 USD
*REDUCED PRICE TO $525 - originally listed at >$700* For sale is my 2021 Fox Factory 36 29" 160mm travel with Grip2 damper, 44mm offset, 15x110 boost thru axle (comes with the Kabolt axle). The steerer tube is cut to 7" / 178mm. This came brand new and stock on an Ibis Ripmo v2 that I bought in March 2021, so it is matte black. It was serviced in January 2022 at The Bike Company in Lake Forest, CA which is a high end mountain bike shop known for their Fox suspension work. I'm selling it because I got a great deal on a Fox 38 and decided to give that a try. It's in excellent condition. The Kashima stanchions are 100% clean with no nicks or scratches. There are scratches on the sides of the lowers, like any fork that has actually been ridden, but would mostly disappear with new decals. I'm including a new decal kit as part of the sale (straight from Fox in Kashima gold color). I have taken great care of and babied this fork - stanchions wiped down with a microfiber after every ride, and WPL Forkboost lube applied to the stanchions and dust seals to clean out hidden dirt every couple rides. Located in Carlsbad, CA. Please send a message and we can exchange phone numbers. The 4-digit Fox ID is D66J if you want to look it up on the Fox website, and I've also copied the detailed info below: - Part number: 910-25-778 - Description: 2021, 36, K, FLOAT, 29in, F-S, 160, Grip 2, HSC, LSC, HSR, LSR, Light Reb, Matte Blk, PMS 416/PMS 418 Logo, Kabolt 110, BLK, 1.5 T, 44mm Rake, N/M OE

Bikepacking 340km a Day to Complete the EWS Series - Saving the Hardest for Last
Legend. Seriously unbelievable his body was able to do all of that and still compete at the level he did. That is mental fortitude.

Interview: 18-Year-Old Matt Fairbrother Rides 200km a Day to North American EWS Rounds - An Update
Unreal. What an absolute legend. So inspiring to see what heart and persistence can do. Keep at it, Matt!!! With that kind of attitude and work ethic, you'll do whatever you want, on bikes or otherwise.

Discovery to Broadcast World Cup Coverage from 2023
@stiingya: We've got it good as mountain bikers compared to other sports blowing up, especially surfing for those of us on coasts. I also surf and trust me, a crowded line up is A LOT worse than a crowded trail network. Perspective :)

Discovery to Broadcast World Cup Coverage from 2023
Good things grow. It's the way of the world. You could go back to "aggressive inline skating" if you want to be in a niche sport without large company attention and investment ;)

The comments here make me laugh and cringe at the same time. To the Pinkbike Editors: it is clear that the masses need some education on how the media business works and how the content sausage is made. I think it would be a great service if you wrote about it, and it would save you some heartache from the vapid whining. To the Masses: share your opinion, but also stick to what you know. I am 100% sure that 99% of you have no clue what you're talking about when it comes to the media world. But that's ok, you're entitled to your opinions and you like free stuff. Understood. Here's my opinion (informed by my profession at the intersection of technology/media/entertainment): This is good for our sport. Why? It's simple -- Discovery is a content company. That's what they do, and it's what they're good at. They will invest, and they will work to make mountain biking a money maker for them which in turn will give us as fans excellent coverage. Red Bull on the other hand sells sugar water, and Red Bull Media House is an extremely well funded marketing arm masquerading as a content company. I've been underwhelmed by Red Bull's live production quality. Love their films, don't like their live event coverage. Free is great, sure, but show me another sport with fantastic coverage and production value that is free. You get what you pay for, always, and there is no free lunch. Finally, to those commenting to the effect of "ughh, it's always just about money" .... well, yeah. 1) Grow up. 2) It's a professional sport we're talking about. More money flowing into the sport is good for everyone, including the riders and ultimately us as fans.

Norco Sight A2 - Medium (M)

$2050 USD
Selling my 2018 Norco Sight A2, size Medium (M). I bought it new from The Bike Shop in Santa Monica, CA in the Fall of 2017, and have lovingly ridden and maintained it since. I'm selling it because I got a new bike a couple months ago. This is the full build and spec from Norco's site: https://www.norco.com/bike-archives/2018/sight-a2/ It is in very good condition mechanically, and good condition aesthetically. It has the scratches and nicks you would expect for a mountain bike ridden how it was supposed to be ridden for over 3 years, but the frame is in 100% condition structurally, and I've maintained it very well the entire time. Washed after every 1-2 rides, cleaned and lubed drivetrain every ride, etc. Has the following upgrades: - Brand new WTB Silverado saddle (never been used) - Renthal Fatbar Carbon 35 bar, cut to 770 mm - Shimano Deore XT 203mm rotor in the front (upgraded from 180mm) - Shimano J03A resin pads (with cooling fins) in front and rear - ODI Elite Pro grips As far as the consumable parts: - new Shimano XT cassette and chain installed last summer and haven't put a full "season" worth of time on it since we had a baby. Chain still has at least half life. Cassette looking good. - Maxxis Minion DHF in front (~50-75% life left); Aggressor in the rear (~50% left). Both converted to tubeless with Orange Seal sealant Extras I'll include in sale: - original Norco bar, cut to 770mm - extra derailleur hanger - extra bottomless tokens for the fork - original grips that came with the bike Located in Carlsbad, CA. Please call or text to see it! Test ride with cash in hand.
