It has the slack geometry and beefy set-up to handle laps in the bike park, but pedals well enough to get you up the mountain, too. Cable rub and numerous scratches, and the brakes could use a bleed, but it is tuned well and ready to ride. Fork has not been serviced in 1.5 years, but is still running smoothly. I don't know why JesseE and Catfood-Johnson got downvoted, they made some good points. Perception of mountain bikers by hikers and other environmentalists is a big part of this issue. I'm an environmentalist myself, but it's hard to support the Wilderness Act and the Sierra Club because of they're stance on mountain bikers.
