Bike Check: Myriam Nicole's Commencal Supreme DH - 2026 Val di Sole DH World Championships
Recently I went to a bike with a 465mm chainstay. Still a ways off the reach at 510mm but I'm absolutely loving it.
I was quite nervous going that long on the cs but now I've tried it I'd happily try longer (in increments... I still want the bike to fit the trails!)

'The Thought of Getting On My Bike Right Now Feels Really Far Away' - Louise Ferguson Shares Injury Update
@JaKowz: interesting, i'll give that a try. when i refer to balancing its not usually the low speed stuff although that can be problematic too, its more like theres a rut and trying to keep balanced while you bomb through it. some days i'm fine, other day's i'm all over the place.

'The Thought of Getting On My Bike Right Now Feels Really Far Away' - Louise Ferguson Shares Injury Update
I've always wondered how much seemingly unrelated stuff would help with this kind of thing. Like in this case would learning to play the piano or something else requiring finger dexterity, like building Lego help repair or rebuild the nerve?
I mostly think about it when I'm feeling bad and unbalanced on my bike would slacklining or something balancy help get me better and the balancing part of bicycling?

Continental Expands Gravity Line With 13 New Tire Options
@TommyNunchuck: when I went from my carbon rims to my ex471's the tyres got significantly easier to seat. So it could be the rim tyre combo you're running.
Not that you should be changing rims to run a certain tyre, but it does play a role

Continental Expands Gravity Line With 13 New Tire Options
I've been running exclusively enduro casing for the last 4 years and never had an issue, that might be more of a reflection of the trails I ride or the way I ride, but im 95kg and did every major bikepark in BC without issue, including writing off a carbon rim without damaging the tyre. I recommend them to everyone who'll listen

Continental Expands Gravity Line With 13 New Tire Options
Id love to have a light tyre with super aggressive tread and soft compound as a winter/wet weather front tyre, where I'm slow because it's wet and I'm scared so I'm not really doing anything that would justify a beefy casing, but I want all the grip

Kali’s New Kru Full Face Helmet Has a Titanium Chin Bar, & It Looks... Different
Kali have made a huge noise in the past about how helmets should be smooth because the rotation associated with your helmet snagging is one of the main factors in concussions (dont quote me, this is just my memory of their previous articles) so going with this design that has that as such a significant risk really surprises me
