Can MTB Brakes Stop a Honda Fit? We Tested 10 Four-Piston MTB Brakes
The main thing I took away from the back to back vids of Dario and Matt testing all the brakes with the sound up is why did Dario have a rattle can strapped to his bike?

How Do MTB Suspension Brands Actually Calculate Your Suggested Settings?
In my opinion the missing piece of the assumption puzzle is rider power to weight ratio. We are as much apart of the suspension "system" as the component's and can pick up the slack of a shitty setup or feel a good setup is shitty when tired. So why don't we come up with a basic means of testing with our secondary life support screens that contain accelerometers and specific chosen body weight exercises applicable to our sport may be squats , dips and pull ups etc. Higher numbers would suggest better tolerance of more compression damping for a given weight. Would not be hard to guess if tested the current athlete's would show higher numbers than the average rider and the old saying "if your not testing your guessing".

2025 Pinkbike Awards: Suspension Product of the Year Nominees
My vote for suspension of the decade goes to MRP Lift Damper Red tune. for the first time in my life I actually feel in control and unlike fox's " you cant go from shit to shit" its just shit if your way outside the target weight. the compression dial actually does something. And because suspension is all about balance a special shout out to Fluid Focus Marzocchi Bomber CR Piston and shim upgrade with scaled shim stacks for people who weigh over 100 kg and actually want to maintain decent bone density.

Pinkbike Poll: Do Your Hands or Arms Hurt When You Ride?
I actually solved this problem by installing the heaviest weight scaled MRP Lift damper and it turned out to be a underdamped fork and nothing to do with the bars and grips.

Video: Welcome to the 2021 Fall Field Test - Trail and Downcountry Bikes
@mikelevy: totally understand the dilemma in testing the bikes with all riders needing to fit the one size and totally agree a heavier rider (100kg+ similar height ) makes a lot of sense. Possibly highlighting inadequacies and bringing new perspective especially to the efficiency of the bikes. Although you could always put on a weighted vest for a laugh and find a new appreciation for 4 pot brakes.
