Imagine how much better that would have been with some gnar metal instead. I feel like they needed to be covered in glow necklaces to make that music work.

Forward axle path???? Does this mean we will go back to steep head angles? Got to match the front with this great new technology. Cant picture this riding better than a high pivot rearward design. Seems like a huge step backwards (by going forward lol) to me at first thought.

First Look: SRAM's AXS Web Tool Tracks Your Shifting and Dropper Post Usage
Does anyone remember the days when mountain biking was about getting out to mother nature to enjoy an awesome rad adventure on your bike and have fun. As an absolute numbers nerd this could be fun for a second, but its completely useless to the average rider. At first glance I can only see this have any actual value to race team that need this data to give feedback to the racer for possible improvements. It is my humble opinion that any recreational rider who thinks they need this has completely lost touch with the pure beauty and essence of mountain biking. FUN!!!!! Mountain biking should only be serious for a competitor or when you get injured. Please cycling companies.....make cool things we need and actually want rather than having your marketing company pay Pinkbike to market this crap. In fact fire the entire marketing team and listen to your engineers instead. Sorry, rant over. Stressed these days

I'll get negative props like brappjuice but he is exactly correct. Its paint!!!! Most likely a buffed raw frame sprayed with a tinted clear coat. Kashima is a plate process that will have natural color variations. I'd like to explain more more the fact brappjuice got neg props says yall won't even understand anyway

This is a company that spends on big money athletes, movie stars and shiny things, yet they don't make enough bikes to even reach their potential revenue all while having a pretty bad customer service. That business model just doesn't seem to be a good one.

@naturaltalent: The reason they don't do this is due to the manufacturing process. MTB lowers are made with a thixo molding process. Just like plastic mold injection but with magnesium. One side effect of thixo molding thicker parts like MRB lowers is an issue called porosity. Once they machine a smooth cylindrical surface for your dynamic bushing to glide on it would expose pits and voids on that surface9not good for bushings or sealing). After sorting the bad parts they would have to make so many molded parts to get a small handful of good parts after machining. They would be very very expensive forks. Certainly doable but not cost effecting to do. Unless you want steel or aluminum lowers from billet and double the weight.
