The damage was done yesars ago when the were bought out/merged with Wiggle. I went from buying all my gear from CRC, to nothing, all the space of a few weeks.
Nothing was in stock, prices were higher, delivery was a mess to Europe. At that point the writing was on the wall.

I seem to remember he also made comments about the team not being ready for rain in one race, called out the unprofessionalism in the post race interviews with WynTV I think.
The whole rear wheel/tyre issues going on and on must have been damn annoying. I wonder what was said behind the scenes.

UPDATE: Wiggle Enters Administration as Signa Sports United's Financial Troubles Continue
Probikeshop have had a massive delivery issue since last week, with no orders being sent out. I’ve been waiting on a 24h delivery for a week now.
They are also not offering refunds etc. I’m now suspicious that this is linked.

First Ride: Orbea Occam SL & LT
After owning an Orbea, I’d never buy another. Terrible build quality and attention to detail, to the point I sold it after 5 months as I hated it so much.

$1450 EUR2023 Orbea Alma H10 Eagle mountain bike. Bought new at the end of June 2023, covered ~350km in total since. Spec as per: https://www.orbea.com/ch-en/bicycles/mountain/alma/cat/alma-h10-eagle-2023
I paid 1799CHF, receipt provided to purchaser.
Only changes to the spec are:
- The addition of new Magura MT5 brakes (cost 150CHF, fitted professionally)
- Fork lockout moved to the crown to remove cables (remote provided)
- Vittoria Terreno Dry MTB tires fitted (Tubeless, Maxxis non-tubeless also supplied).
- Dropper seatpost removed when brand new as I didn't need it, but included in sale. It is replaced by a Raceface standard seatpost on the bike
Excellent, like new condition. Any inspection welcome. Pickup in Adliswil.

I am only selling as sadly I am between sizes and bought the wrong size for me.

Semi-Final Results from the Val Di Sole DH World Cup 2023
Hate the new fomat, track coverage is terrible (start 30 secs and last 20 secs for the Elite Women), terrible commentary (even though I really like Cedric), and overall a much less engaging spectacle. Which we now have t0 pay for! (I refuse to).
Sorry, but the new format and coverage is a real step backwards and will do nothing for DH popularity on the world stage.
