Video: Trans Provence 2019: Day 6
End of an era! I’ve said it before but it’s worth repeating, Thanks Ash, Melissa, the trail setters, caterers, drivers, medics, all the photographers and all round great people that year after year have made this one of the best events in Mountain biking to both follow and for a lucky few to take part in. Long live the TP (even if just in memory’s of the good times)

Video: Trans Provence 2019: Day 5
My understanding was that a lot of time and effort has been put in by Ash and the TP team to find, get permission and sympathetically repair the trail where necessary. Part of there business is trail holidays so it seems fair that as they have put the effort into it they get some reward out of it. Hence a condition of entering not to post track detail on line (Strava ect..) Worth a watch. And yeah well done to all, hope no more injured before the TP finishes! And any one who is out of it due to injury... heal up quick!

Trans Provence 2019: Mid Race Recap
@zoobab2: hi Zoobab, I can’t comment on the TransVerdon, but fair play if they can provide the same level of organisation and quality for less. I can only comment on what I experienced in 2017 and for me the 1800 euro price was well worth it for the chance to take part in such a small and well run race.

Trans Provence 2019: Mid Race Recap
True it ain’t cheep, buts that’s accommodation for the week, food (all food), all the marked transfer routes and let’s not forget all the timed race stages, staff to run them and a couple of doctors riding with the groups to make sure that if something does go wrong you’ve got medical care. It also covers cleaning up after race has gone through and an exceptional level of professionalism & organisation thought out and leading up to the event, i’m Guessing this does not come cheep. Oh and not to forget the two Mavic mechanics who work without fear or favour on all the competitors (and the odd random locals) bikes!

Trans Provence 2019: Mid Race Recap
Good luck everyone who was lucky enough to get in this year, truly epic weeks riding..... just wish I was there as opposed to starting at a screen in the office. Hats off to the media team, Ash, Melissa and all the other folks who help to make this happen and allows us to keep up with the action via some epic vids. The rest of us might not have made it, but damn I’ll be hitting the trails this weekend feeling well and truly enthused :)

Motion Ride's 170mm Linkage Fork - Eurobike 2018
E18 up front wolf ridge rear Sus, I wonder how that would compare to a “traditional” set up? Please PB set up a test & write up. It’s about time things were shaken up a bit.... looking at that high pivot artical the other day reminded me how much innovation there has been in our sport, long may it continue! Also nice to see positive comments on something that’s based on engineering principles not a beauty pageant! (Good engineering is of course always a beautiful thing to behold).
