There was a French news site with an interview and he said something along the lines of "it was for reasons of laws within the contract"... I'm not good at translating French through German to English

I orefer watching this to not watching gravity racing at all in the dh offseason. The urban DH races are still a few weeks away...

Seems to me like you are kind of missing the classic Enduro Rage Bike for rough stuff. At least what I would go to for racing at european venues like Finale, Canazei, La Thuile, Reschen/Nauders etc.
I know there are venues like Pietra Ligure and others where less travel works well too... and not everybody can ride like Rhys Verner :D
