Well all I can say is my pivot switchblade with plus tyres is faster on everything than my tallboy 2 from 2015 in spite of being heavier. D9nt know if its the plus tyres which roll over stiff better the suspension rhats better or what. Both are carbon frames and wheels but as I say the heavier one is faster so worry more about other things maybe

Mud in the UK is v slippery and roots are like icicles must be lichen or something and mud can be thick and gloomy can sink in slide onnit luke oil and it flicks up like custard although it is fun to ride in.our dust is not slippery, its grippy and usually in most places still loamy earth not like this vid. In North America esp in mountainous areas the dust is more sand or fine particles of rock rather than soil so v dusty and loose and I think can be more slippery over the rocks. I lived in calgary and I was always wondering why people wanted rain. I was like wtf is hero dirt? After a while I noticed this. Even in the rain wet roots were grippy but I still preferreddry tbh.
