First Look: KOM Xeno Infinity Drive Hubs Push from the Disc Side
Ohh I like it. My Norco Sight murders drive side bearings, possibly due to no brace in the seat stays. Snapped axel in XT hub. 4 x drive side bearing replacement in 350's over 4 years riding. It's due for another rear wheel.

Pinkbike Poll: Do You Use Your Climb Switch?
Before we drop in on big bikes we always say to engage downy mode. My pedally bike has it on the bars. Have been caught out recently on chairlift runs when we pedalled from lunch to a different lift and then rolled into dh track.....noticed halfway wondering how my setup could be so wrong.

Burning Question: Where Do Wheel Component Manufacturers Stand on Tire Inserts?
I didn't realise how much I was holding back in rock gardens out of puncture fear until I went to inserts (rimpacts) on my enduro bike. Also went from 5 dead tyres a year to one which also dinged my rim, but I know the rim would have been destroyed without a insert. Don't run em on my xc bike I don't aim that at rocks.

Semi-Finals Moved to Qualifying Day in DH World Cup Schedule Changes
I don't understand the outrage about the semi's particularly the notion of having to do a extra full fast run. Heaps of sports from club all the way to international level have qtr/semi/final level competition over a few days/weekend where everyone needs to manage fatigue and risk of injury to get through. Or double header race weekends where exactly the same thing happens.

So many jumpers getting slammed because they think speed is a substitute for jumping skill. Once you learn how to pop you can always add distance with lift, scrubbing a jump you hit too fast is a tougher skill.

Got to wonder if in this tiktok, shorts influencer world if brands even need race results to sell gear??
Because there is are national and local series here in Australia, I always figured the pathway was national ranking to ride worlds, go and race stuff like crankworks to start getting your name out there, then make it into a WC team if you start showing people you are getting up to a serious level?
Would be nice if the WC locals would race nationals/states/local when in town to show everyone the pace (this does seem to happen but not always). This is what happened when I was racing DH in early 2000's. All the WC names were at nationals it was awesome.
