Canfield Unveils V3 Tilt & Lithium with "Geometry-Static" Dropout System
I owned a Canfield balance and then a Lithium. When changing I was also concerned about the lack of water inside the frame. 2 comments here that end it:
-on long rides, a water bottle is not sufficient in my case, so I bought new small hydration backpack which are common now in enduro racing. Perfect.
- on small rides, I went with fidlock bottle under the down tube, expecting to loose it quickly, especially in bike parks… I never lost it after 1 year nd a half, with for example 15 days in Morzine last summer and lots of other bike parks in Pyrenees.
Si for me not more if an issue. Would be better inside a frame with a store box but it is definitely not a no go

Video: Loïc Bruni vs An Average Rider On a Proper World Cup Track
Seen Loic once on this track for personal test while riding… definitely not the same sport 🤣 and Charlie is above average I think. What is most astonishing with Loic is that he has pro skills with average Joe easiness to talk to… each time I met him on a track, you can have a small talk like any guys you can find on a track.

Ekoï Launches New D3O Knee Pads
Just for curiosity, what was the other?
As for the price, I admit I was disappointed with the euro price for Ekoi. But as for the huge gap with the dollar price, which seems completely crazy, I don’t think the French are responsible for your taxes. And of course, they won’t be sold in the US at that price — that’s probably the whole point of the tax.

First Look: Revel Rascal SL - The Live Wire Trail Bike Gets Lighter
@Froday: man, that’s your view, and I respect it, but for some people like me, it is the opposite… I prefer shorter CS, and tried long one 10 days in Les Gets and Berneix: ok more stability, and driving with the feet, but I do not see the real advantage, I do not have issue with short CS in straight line even if the rear wheel is less stable, I can still go fast, and what really stop me from going to this 450mm CS: when I am tired, and I need to lift quickly the front wheel for a bunny hop or other to avoid a last moment obstacle, it feels horrible with 450mm… in the steep, I could barely lift it and leads to « oh shit « moment. So I stick to my shirt CS and bought a Lithium. And I like it and I forgot to mention, with Canfield, the bike is longer when you go into travel, I think I am at 440mm instead of 430mm at SAG… so sometimes need to be careful with figures

@jayacheess: for sure, I understand the overall message, and would be better to have more variety in locations. I suppose there are economic aspects in the choice. And not speaking about the live coverage, even with the efforts done by PB for example… Seems that We are regressing

Pinkbike Primer: Everything You Need to Know Ahead of the Loudenvielle DH World Cup 2023
@jayacheess: I suppose I am below average rider rode it 2 weeks ago, it was blown out, off camber were challenging and it is far more steep than it looks. True that the beginning will not be very interesting, and to see what they could do on the rest of the track. I was quite concern when they decided this location, as said most interesting trails are on the opposite side and Ioved Lourdes… Let’s see
