Pinkbike Poll: Olympic Downhill?
Fuck... people on here are getting really too anal about what is considered a decent riding.. DH is DH, if they dumb it down ..who cares, or are we all looking for massive gaps and huge tricks... at the end of the day riding a bike down a hill at speed is (what i consider) downhill racing.. If the pros don't want to come over and ride an olympic track then they don't have too.! If they come over and kill it and grab a gold well all the better... other than people who view the sport because they do it or like it... nobody else understands it, and what better way than to bring it too them via the Olympics..
I would much rather watch Dh racing on a "lame" track with some below average commentating than watch the XC mtb race of guys racing around and around .. but hey thats just me .. biking is biking. My 2c

Thats exactly what i was thinking, why are not looking at someone gunning point to point... so im thinking gotta be elavation..! excuse my ignorance..... but i would love to have a go at this, but am probably never going to make it..!
