Friends racing a slapped together dual slalom in snow, at night, with beers, sounds like the right amount of fun and seriousness

Spokane Trail Saboteur Pours Grease on Rock Slab, Threatens Further Action
This is, by the way, the same riding area that included a skinny over "Dead Hooker Pond". I think only older locals will remember that one.

Spokane Trail Saboteur Pours Grease on Rock Slab, Threatens Further Action
@gmiller720: Beacon Hill is fairly unique in that it is a public riding area, very close to downtown Spokane, and surrounded by developments. Lots of community engagement, especially when developers try to step in. I am not aware of much in the way of push back from other users, but Beacon is heavily dominated by mountain biking. I could see hikers wanting a few trails to themselves, and agree that we are not the only passionate group out there. If thats the case, Evergreen East and Spokane Parks and Rec would be receptive to constructive feedback. As it is, there is a very strong advocacy and trail building group (Evergreen East) that is organized and mobilized on behalf of mountain biking. Beacon is a blast!, and has a great selection of tech and flow. The greater Spokane area has two extremely large State parks with hiking and biking (mostly hiking) opportunities as well.

Because bicycle companies are doing so well right now!
I think a company with a large automotive, industrial, and material handling presence, and wants to get a foothold in our sport is exactly what we need.
