First Look: New Pinarello Dogma XC Race Bike for Pidcock and PFP
@inked-up-metalhead: often it's done because the top tube or seat stays will get in the way of the cutting tool used to make the slot. Sometimes you will have front to back on the larger frame and side to side on the small.

Video: Chris Akrigg Signs For Whyte Bikes
@davechopoptions: I had a few quad link bikes that I liked, starting with a Marin Mount vision pro that replaced a Specialized Epic, with regular riding that needed new bearings and horst link bushing every 8 weeks, after 6 months I gave up on it, between that and the Marin I had a trek fuel with the glued in bearings, those lasted 8 hours before falling out, that went back to Trek after less than a month. The Marin just worked without issue, as did an E5 and E120 carbon that followed. The E120 was my favorite, yes it had occasional brake jack if you miss timed braking in rock gardens but I absolutely loved that bike, sub 12kg with 120 travel, the original down country rocket ship that is long over due a re-boot.

First Look: Hope's New Pro 5 Hubs
@browner: there is no question that trials riding can move a CL rotor on the hub, I've not personally seen a lock ring unscrew but the rotational play between the hub and rotor can be significant. Even when they are torqued up correctly. Overtime that play is sure to get worse.

First Look: Hope's New Pro 5 Hubs
@cyclopathic-uk: until recently I also thought CL was all everyone needs but then I saw some that were impossible to tighten, now I know what to look for it's not uncommon. Depends how you ride, if you hop about a bit or lock the brakes a lot you will soon develop play with a CL rotor. Road and XC, fair enough, anything more dynamic and I'd be inclined to swerve CL.

Specialized Lays Off 8% of its Employees in "Organization Adjustment"
When Dyson laid off 900 people 2 years ago this text was part of the PR...
"“We are evolving our organisation and reflecting these changes to make us faster, more agile, and better able to grow sustainably.
“These proposals would regrettably result in around 600 redundancies in the UK and 300 in the rest of the world. We are fully supporting those who are impacted..."
It seems Scott took the script with him.
