Prototypes & Interesting Thoughts on Bike Geometry from UNpaved Cycles - Eurobike 2025

I still believe that a lot of people, including most of progressive geometry frames builders, doesn't have a clear idea of the definition of all mountain and what it consists of. Tech climbs, also narrows and rocky, as well as sub-alpine terrain require a bike's geometry and rider position that doesn't share too much with this progressive trend. To me they look just as enduro bikes with reduced travel, but mountain biking Is quite more than that

Field Test: Spot Mayhem 140 - Conservative Geo, Liberal Amounts of Fun

I would have never ever imagine that being light(er), with short chainstais and 65° HA would have make a bike more efficient and a pleasure to ride. Stop calling it conservative geo, these are well taken design choices.

SRAM Patent Shows Two-Piston Brake Caliper with Non-Circular Pistons

Braking or BCA brakes already work on 2 large pistons and are scarily powerfull, maybe the most brutal brakeset available. So much that I find them really dangerous in emergency situations or when riding tired.

Review: The Raaw Jibb LT is Sure-Footed & Versatile

I really don't get the point on the comparison with the Geometron/Nicolai. Perhaps with a Saturn, just for geometry reasons... But the overall costruction, the materials, the accuracy of Nicolai workmanship it's at an absolutley different level, at a different level for all other manufacturers I would say. And so tells the difference in price. And the basically absent percentage of warranty recall on Nicolai frames that outshines the second owner warranty policy

If you've been able to get a first gen 141 frame during the covid sales you own a cheaper, lighter and better performing all mountain bike that you can easily ride on enduro races. They needed to design this second generation, but customers did not need it.

If you don't understand how people say that, you probably haven't follow the WC from 2004 to nowadays. Have a look at tracks like Vigo, the old Maribor or Champery from the Earthed series and see how many jump areas and berms where there. This video is about them having fun on a bike park trail, WC in those years was a different thing business
