Designed to go fast, built to go big.

PRESS RELEASE: Spank Industries

Spank Industries is honored to be a partner with Neko Mulally and Frameworks Racing. This past year we set out to work on a saddle that fits the needs of DH riders, this was a collaborative effort between Spank and Frameworks to develop a saddle fit for DH racers and riders around the globe. This saddle is available on the Frameworks website, The Gravity Cartel website and select retailers throughout the USA, and with only 100 units made for this unique release.

The Spank x Frameworks Limited Edition Saddle was designed by a World Cup racer for racers and riders everywhere. Frameworks captain, Neko Mulally, fashioned his signature saddle to have a streamlined profile and a narrow width to accommodate on-the-bike maneuverability. The rear cut out at the back combats tire buzz during big hits and g-outs, and TiAlloy rails keep matters light and an affordable. That way you'll have money left over for entry fees.

Finally I can Spank my own ass without it being weird.

IDK, Spanking yourself with Grip Vinyl and Kevlar sounds borderline weird to me =P

saddles are a place I spend obscene money on.....If I am going to sit on it for 4+ hours, it's worth HUNDREDS of dollars.

Also, the ONLY Specialized product I have ever owned.....Spesh Power Pro in 155mm on every single bike I own. sure, its $325(and I get zero discount...pay full price willingly) and worth double that.

Same, the Power Pro Mirror (the super weird looking 3d printed one) is absolutely worth every dime I’ve ever spent on it. It’s more comfortable than any other saddle I’ve tried, but damnit Spec hates putting them on sale (so I grab all of them from the BuySell section).

@Apoxual: I have the power pro mirror and it’s not any better than my power expert elaston which was much cheaper
  • 1 0
@senorbanana: I've got one of the elaston ones too and I don't like it nearly as much as the mirror

 Nice

If $69.99 sells more product than $70, than surely a price of $69.69 would have sold even more saddles. This looks like a missed opportunity to me.

Why does it say plus or minus 226 g? Does that mean if you install it correctly it provides enough aerodynamic lift to offset its own mass and an extra 226 g from your bike? Intriguing design I guess
  • 1 0
 yes
