Review: The Kona Process 134 CR DL is a Comfort Zone Companion
@flaflow: real happy for you. PE vulture owners screwed me on my 2019 process 153 CR/DL frame when it cracked. Canfield for life now!

First Look: Revel Rascal SL - The Live Wire Trail Bike Gets Lighter
@pmhobson: why is every PB comments section some geo dork parroting exactly what PB says is the ideal geo? it's written all over the site. it's the editorial stance. do they need to give a gold star to everyone that agrees so they STFU about it? It's fine to like different stuff. I really don't want a longer bike than my L lithium. I don't need a bunch of 160 lbs long-legged riders telling me that I need a 40 lb, 140 travel mm bike with a 1300 mm wheelbase. ed.- to be clear, the dork is the person whining about a very narrow definition of GoOd GeOmEtRy

Burning Question: Eleven Major Manufacturers on Frame Warranty
yeah, or warranty until they sell-out. Bought a kona when they were still cool, Kona sold out for that PE payday. Had a weird frame failure, got screwed. I know everyone was super happy to see Kona get sold back, but I'm still bitter. Warranties are something I consider mostly worthless these days.

Specialized Announces Genie-Equipped Levo SL
Speech is releasing complicated, proprietary shocks? Same as it ever was. Hasn't their recent improvement in reputation been from getting away from that nonsense? Well, that and no longer suing random small businesses...

First Ride: 2024 Propain Spindrift - The Easy-Pedaling Freeride Machine
@93EXCivic: yeah, the impact of long CS on weight distribution is exaggerated on this site routinely. Might add 2 lbs of force on the front end for a 200 lbs rider to go 10 mm longer. Good technique, strength training, and tire set up all matter more. Nothing wrong with liking the tradeoff, but it's not some kind of ideal thing.

Spotted: New Shimano Brakes & DH Drivetrain
Shimano has a new product coming out! Cue the legion of internet commenters who haven't used them telling us all how they're the BeSt BrAkEs EvEr. Still remember a solid year of that when Deore 12 speed was announced...

Review: Last Glen - An Out-of-the-Ordinary All-Mountain Bike
@Weirdo12345: Thanks PB. Now even the commenters feel compelled to have opinions on sizes of bikes that they don't even ride. Having actually ridden a bike with very similar dimensions to the 175, it's totally fine.

DH Field Test: Intense M1 - For Your Gnarliest Trails
@Jamielandon: yeah, the point of more travel usually isn't so you can ride faster or do bigger hits. I rode park on a 140/130 for a while. The difference with a 170 bike is that my body isn't wrecked from all the force from stiffer suspension and bottoming out all the time.
