First Look: Shimano's New XTR is More Than Just 12-Speed
If the 2x front shifter only has 1 lever why not make a version with 2 levers, the 2nd one would control the dropper? If they're going to insist that 2x isn't dead, they sure aren't using all their resources to prove us wrong. They have all the parts it seems, a 1 lever front shifter, and a new fancy 1x specific dropper lever. Prove us wrong and make the ultimate ergonomic, sexy 2x cockpit... we'll wait.

Santa Cruz Hightower 29 Medium w/ Roval Carbon Wheels

$3500 USD
I've been riding this Hightower for 2 seasons upgrading along the way. Originally was a CS+ kit and I ran it plus for a summer, though not much of that original build remains. Bought the 29" wheels beginning of last summer and definitely preferred it in 29" mode, especially with keeping the longer 150mm fork. I got the Monarch plus at the very end of last summer and opted for a firmer compression tune than normal which I loved and wish I had done sooner. It road higher in it's travel and had some more pop. Fork was serviced at the same time as the shock upgrade at the end of last season, less than 10 rides after that. The interior tire rub was caused by wheel going slightly out of true on a long ride (E13 TRS tires are way wider than the 2.35" claimed). This happened early in the season last summer, the wheel trued up nicely, and hasn't needed to be touched since. I tried to take pictures of all of the cosmetic scratches on the frame/fork, PM if you want more pics or have questions. Bike is riding great with suspension/drivetrain working flawlessly. I loved this bike, it rides amazingly well and with this particular built I think just as capable as the new LT. Only selling it because the Nomad is calling my name.
