After a 6 year run selling gt bikes I can see why they are going under. Love my 19 force 27.5 and my 21 fury carbon pro but the company had so many empty promises. USA dealers got to order before Canada and there was never anything good left, They would sell the same bike in the same colour at big box stores for less than our cost. I complained about map rules and sport check got new lower end builds so it wasn't the same model but it was still hundreds cheaper for them. Hanger 94 was crap too and the other one they used was even worse.

Shout to spank wheels and hubs for amazing customer service. They fixed up twice while managing a shop and my suppliers let me down. Without mentioning I worked in a shop or knew the distributors.

It'd be a force not a sanction lol.

I was running 10 and 12 pounds in my tire down a jump trail the other day no issues and no inserts. Spank oozy wheels with Conti der baron project 2.6 tires. Painful combo to mount up but I got 2 and half seasons on them and just ch aged the rear out as the front looks fine still.

@m1dg3t: Now if only they didn't cancel my entire booking order for next year. They are the main brand at my shop and can't get me a single full suspension or dirt jump bike. I get a few kids bikes bmx and hardtails from a pre book but we went light with it waiting for the real booking. Had it done within hours of the booking going live but they don't have parts or bikes. Waited 6 months for a new pivot bolt I gave to a customer and ended up buying one from another customer that bought a kit last year. Still no new pivot kit for my force. No new forces or sensors this year. GT told me to grab another brand if I can so you know it's bad The rival shops in town are fully stocked with trek and giant and I have the only empty store. As a GT dealer, I have a few things to say they stopped making bikes way before April this year for top-selling bikes to ship in Feb and be sold out by April with no new bikes until December or later. Icing on the cake is GT never told our shop about the yearly booking order until the night before it was due so we had slim pickings for the bikes we did end up with. All of this on top of most of the bikes we wanted not making it out of the catalog and into our store. Top 2 hardtail specs were eu only and not for sale in Canada and the same goes for their Ebikes this year. The worst by far had to be when someone bought a used gt only 1 year old and gt had 1 swingarm to replace the broken one but they would not sell it to us because he bought the bike 2nd hand. I am waiting to see if they do the same thing for a used bike that was $10 000 new. I need a chainstay and I have asked 3 times and still no answer. The big S sold me a rocker link for my status when it was 5 years old and I bought it used. Scott will sell me parts for a bike from 2009 still but gt won't support a bike that's only a year old.

@bubbrubb: I have had more than 1 brand new fork from fox come dry for the lower leg baths. Will not sell one now without pulling the lowers and redoing the oil.

@SvenNorske: Dorel is always giving Gt dealers way less support than Cannondale dealers.
