@darkcanuck: I reckon that is a genius idea! (With or without Warner.) Hope they make it happen. As people come down they count their time down to zero, factoring in their lead over the current fastest rider overall. So if the current overall leader's stage time is 4:00 and the new rider's lead going into the stage is five seconds over them, they have to finish in under 4:05 to take the overall lead. Having multiple riders on the stage at a time would make that tricky though, wonder if there's a way you could make it work. It'd be a lot more exciting if you could answer the "are they on pace to take the lead" question in real time like you can with the splits in downhill.
